Lunar Love

Chapter 3

Bucky POV

I heard a little girl screaming from the cell next to me. The HYDRA agent said my trigger words causing me to forget everything. "You'll kill her, yes?" He asked in Russian, I nodded and he let me out to go do the mission. The winter soldier. I'm the winter soldier. The little girl screamed again. I killed the woman and walked back to the base. The girl screamed again "HELP ME!"

I shot up sweaty in my bed. Another nightmare. The door creaked open and I saw Steve standing there, "you okay Buck?" He asked and I nodded "another nightmare" "wanna talk about it?" He sat down on the corner of my bed. "The girl on the cell next to me was screaming and I had a mission. I couldn't help her. She was in pain. They were hurting her" Steve knew about the little girl. She'd been in the cell next to me, I never learned her name, all I knew was she had purple powers, I'd seen them coming out from under the wall of the cell. "Oh god Bucky I'm sorry" he sighed. "Yknow Luna she seemed like the recognized you" Steve spoke "you know her?" He asked I shrugged "maybe? You know I don't remember most of my life" I told him standing up and putting on a shirt. "I heard Nat in the ballet studio." Steve said and I nodded. "I might go hang out in there for a bit" I told him walking out

   I opened the door to the ballet studio expecting to see Natasha but seeing Luna instead. She was doing pointe. She didn't notice me as I sat under the bar. I watched her dance for a little while until my arm accidentally hit the wall making a loud noise. She jumped and fell. "Ow fuck" she spoke trying to stand up eventually succeeding. "You've um, been watching?" She asked. "Yeah I'm sorry I come watch when Nat is in here sometimes and I kind of forgot that it was you not her. I'm sorry did I scare you?" "No you didn't I just wanted to fall on the floor for fun" she sarcastically spoke. She sat down next to me, taking off her pointe shoes. "Natasha comes in here sometimes? I'm sorry did I come in somewhere I shouldn't?"she asked slightly panicked "no no I'm sure Nat doesn't care who comes in here. Can I ask why your up at 3 AM?" I asked her "nightmare" she sighed. "Same here." "Wanna talk about yours?" She asked me.

   I shook my head not wanting to tell the girl about my time in HYDRA because I was afraid she'd be scared of me. We sat there in silence for a little bit. "HYDRA. I was in HYDRA. I dreamed about HYDRA" she spoke. My heart dropped into my stomach, "and the red room?" I asked and she nodded. The door creaked open and I saw Natasha standing there with her pointe shoes in hand. "I'm um gonna go" Luna told me  grabbing her stuff and walking out fast. "What was that about?" Natasha asked "I'm not sure, she was in here doing pointe when I walked in. She had a nightmare. She spent time in HYDRA." I told Nat as she put on her pointe shoes and warmed up. "Your kidding me." Nat sighed. "Did you have a nightmare?" She asked. "Mhm" I hummed a response as she began dancing to a song. I recognized the lyrics, she danced to this one a lot. Bruises by Lewis Capaldi.

    There must be something in the water cause everyday it's getting colder and if only I could hold you you'd keep my head from going under

I listened to the lyrics.
    She danced. Nat has always been an amazing dancer, she showed so so much emotion and it was amazing. Ever since I got lost in the compound and ended up in the ballet studio after having a nightmare I came here almost every night. Nat would ask sometimes if I had a nightmare and I'd ask her sometimes. Most of the time I didn't ask her because she preferred to keep things like that private. I watched Nat face to the various songs until I eventually got tired and went back to bed.

Hey! I know this was kind of a depressing chapter a little bit but I like it. I'm kind of forming the little "I have trouble sleeping" crew. Did you guys like the ballet stuff? I felt like Bucky would like watching ballet I'm not sure why. What do you guys want to see?
