New story...I know I have too many stories for my own good and I take forever to upload...
Good news though! 6 weeks of school left and after that my uploads will be quicker! :•}
So depending on how much u guys like this story will say how often I upload
I'm still uploading all my other stories too, so don't worry.
This story is romance, but is more of a thriller. Still humor though.
Also the disease the character has is made up...I was thinking of picking a cancer or fatal disease, but I figured that might be touchy subjects and some of you might be offended. If you want me to put a real disease I will.
Tell me what you think!
>>>Chapter 1<<<
It's My Drug
I was insane. Out of my mind. I thrilled for fear. It made me feel alive. Before, you think I'm suicidal let me explain...three months ago I was diagnosed with Hypometabolism (A/N: I know not creative...I jus thought of a name..) a disease in which my body can't convert my food to energy. When I first heard this I figured I'd take vitamins and be fine, but it will only work for a while. Seven months. My doctor estimated my body will just break down by then. Seven months and I'm gone. This disease is one of the most fatal, but I refuse to late it take over my life.
I will not cry.
I will not complain.
I will not pity myself.
I will live to the fullest.
Going back to my love for fear, I love fear because it proves I'm alive. It's my drug. Having these near to death experiences makes me feel as if I still have control over my life. Over my due date of death. Yes once again I'll say I'm insane.
Desperate times call for desperate measures right?
My eyes looked at the bars of the horizontal ladder; I was at a camp of facing you fears. It's called Fear Facers. Yet, while everyone was pissing their pants on facing their fears I was more than estatic to feel fear. We were inside a warehouse, with an indoor pool filled with crocodiles and about twenty five feet over the pool was a fifteen foot ladder. Obviously, you have to cross it to live and especially not fall into the pool of hungry crocodiles. Of course, everyone had a rope tied to them to prevent them from actually falling into the pool and even with that they were scared.
Wimps.
Well I'll give them credit because they are actually sane, while my mind is screwed up.
Tac, my coach sent me a warning glare; he knew I wasn't scared of anything and I make every activity actually fatal because I cross lines or some crap. He was in his early twenties, he had blue eyes and brown hair; he was good looking but I saw him more as an older brother or friend.
I smirked at him and unhooked the rope from around my waist; his eye widened and he charged at me. I laughed and jumped up to grab the ladder's bar. I heard Tac shouting profanities at me and that made me laugh harder.
"Avrey! Avrey!Get your ass back here!" Tac roared, I laughed some more. I was a trouble maker here.
I was eagerly alternating arms to move forward, I could feel my arm muscles tightening as they held all my body weight. I was halfway to the otherside when my hands wanted to release their hold on the metal bar; I scowled and looked down. The crocodiles swam and some popped their heads up to look at me, I stuck my tongue out at them, sending a double meaning. Screw you crocs and screw you death.
