''''Chapter 2''''''
Nostalgia
My breath caught in my throat and I spun around, narrowing my eyes in a
challenge." We're all dying aren't we? We just don't know when." I responded
flatly. He looked at me thoughfully his black eye burning into me. Black as
coal. Empty of a sign of life.
"Yes. However you're end is near." He responded emotionesdly, his black hair
falling into his face concealing his black eye and all you could see was the
emerald one. A sense of familiarity washed over me, but I didn't know from where
I remembered him. Maybe I saw him at Hot Topic, he seemed the type to go there.
I smiled wryly, he spoke like an old guy but he looked like an emo teen dude.
"I suppose." I responded carelessly, I was getting accustomed to the fact. More
so because the dangerous situations I put myself in would likely kill me before
my due date.
"Youre not sad? You're not gonna ask me how I know?" He asked with shock in his
voice.
"Well I'm guessing your one of the nurses that my mom sent to hassle me about
eating." I sighed. My mom has practically sent ninja nurses to shove food down
my throat.
"Nowhere near it." He almost smiled, his lip quirked up the slightest, but that
could be from twitching or something.
"Well then see ya creepy emo dude." I waved my hand dismissively and turned to
walk away. The curiousity was burning in me, but i was too hungry to stay and
ask if we had met before.
"I will see you soon Avrey Xanthe." He whispered as if my name was a secret. I
turned around to demand what he meant, but he was gone. I grumbled in annoyance,
my mind spinning. Such a creepy strange dude.

Once I returned it was almost seven so I jumped in the shower and then got
dressed. I walked out and bumped straight into a muscular chest; I scowled
already knowing who it was.
"What Tak?" I muttered looking at his arms crossed over his defined chest. I
wasn't a pervert, well sometimes I am, anyway I knew he had his angry face on
and I rather not look at it.
"Why don't you tell me? Sam told me you came out of the forest just now." He
scowled at me, going into
the forest alone was a big no-no.
"Well Sam told the truth." I muttered, now looking up to see his ocean blue
eyes. One twitched in frustration and I tried hard not to laugh.
"Avrey. That place is dangerous! How many times have I told y-"
"About eleven times." I interrupted as always. He muttered a curse and pinched
the bridge of his nose.
