Allison POV:
Allison rested her head on the window and yawned, "You alright there?" Her dad looked at her and smiled.
"Yeah," Allison sighed, "Just tired."
"Well you stayed up late doing homework and its only... 7:45 in the morning. Honestly, I would be concerned if you weren't tired." He chuckled and turned back to the road, "I didn't know that they gave that much homework on the first day."
Allison let her eyes slide shut and she grinned to herself. She hadn't stayed up doing homework last night, in fact she had stayed up talking to Scott. They had exchanged stories, played 20 questions, he had even tried to tell her jokes but ended up apologizing for being 'so incredibly awkward' (as he had put it). Allison had laughed anyways and told him not to apologize because she found his awkwardness to be quite cute. Scott and her had chatted for hours and eventually she had fallen asleep to the sound of his voice.
"What's that little smile for Allison?" Her dad interrupted her thoughts and threw her back into reality.
"Nothing, dad." she cleared her throat and attempted to wipe the smile off her face.
"no, no, no all you've been doing is smiling since you met that Scott kid yesterday! When do we get to meet him?"
"Oh my god! Dad!" Allison groaned and turned up the radio.
"What I- Come on- the-" Mr. Argent turned the radio back down and earned a glare from his daughter.
"Dad, I just met him yesterday. I'm not bringing him home yet." Allison clarified and thankfully Beacon Hills high came into view.
"I bet he's a nice kid and I want to meet him. Just bring him to dinner, we aren't going to scare him off!" Her dad argued.
"Yeah, sure." Allison said bitterly. The car was barely at a stop when Allison flung open the door and stepped out.
"I'm hoping that's your sleep deprivation talking," Mr. Argent sighed, "at least try to have a better day."
"Thank you!" Allison gave her father a fake smile and slammed the car door shut. She ran her fingers through her dark chocolate hair and scanned the parking lot for her best friend.
"Lydia!" she yelled and waved at the strawberry-blonde who was just getting out of her car.
She wasn't hard to miss, Allison decided, with her 6 inch pumps, stylish floral dress, and perfectly curled vibrant hair. While Lydia strutted across the parking lot towards Allison, the eyes of at least 10 boys followed her.
"Hey Alli!" Lydia smiled looking much more alive than Allison felt.
"What kind of coffee are you drinking and where can i get some?" Allison responded and then broke into a smile when Lydia giggled. She linked her arm through Lydia's and they walked towards the double doors together.
"Allison!" Scott was waving from the bottom of the stairs with a huge grin on his face. Allison beamed back and gave a little wave in his direction.
"Shoot," Lydia groaned. Allison was about to ask her what was wrong until she spotted Stiles standing next to Scott, "Here," Lydia rummaged around in her handbag, "Give this to Scott- or Stiles whichever you prefer. It's his cover thingy." she whispered and pushed a small plastic bag into Allison's hands.
"Alright?" Allison raised her eyebrow at Lydia as she broke away from her and picked up the pace towards the school.
As Lydia got closer to the two boys, Stiles smiled cheekily and called out to her, "Hey Lydia! You look-" She brushed past him without even glancing in his direction, "like you're going to ignore me." Stiles bowed his head and rubbed the back of his neck nodding slightly.
