"Thank you." I said as I handed the cashier my card to pay for my coffee. "Your coffee will be out in a minute." The waitress replies. I take a seat and scroll on my phone till I hear my name being called. I get up, grab my coffee, and walk out to my car. I get in my car and start driving while listening to the radio. "And now for one of the top songs in the world right now "Anyone Else" by Ricky Bowen!

(A/N I know it was never one of the top songs but it worked with the story so yeah)

I froze when I heard his name. The name I hadn't heard in over a year. Yeah I had a new boyfriend now but it still hurt to hear him singing the song that he wrote for me in our junior year of high school. I smiled at the memory of two kids sitting in my bedroom laughing, teasing each other, and being high schoolers. No worry. No thought of them not having a future together. They were in love. I zoned out for a few minutes before my brother called me. I answered the call and connected it to my car.

"Hi!" I said

"Hey" my brother Ej replied

"What's up?"

"Gina and Maddie were wondering if you could come over for dinner tonight?"

"I would love to!!! I am getting so sick of fast food."

Why don't u learn how to cook???"He asked

"I don't have the time"I sighed "I'm here at work"

"Okay well we'll see you at six!!!!"

"Okay love ya bye!!!!"i said

"Love ya!!!"

*Ej hangs up*

I take a deep breath and head into the building
