We had dinner at slices and now we are in my apartment watching a movie on my couch

Nini has fallen asleep, and I was about to but her phone started going off like crazy.

I pick it up to see who is texting her and see its Ethan.

He starts calling her too. I was about to silence her phone when I saw what some of the texts were.

Blackmail, stay away from Ricky, you can't tell anyone. I decide to wake up Nini

"Hey, Nini? We need to talk for a minute." I say whispering.

"Yeah? What's up? She says rubbing her eyes and sitting up.

"I know what's happening between you and Ethan, Nini. I am going to help you get out of this mess."

"No! if he knows that you know he would hurt you! that's why Gina and I never did anything!"

"Well, we are going to do something, now that I know."

She nods her head and leans back on the couch.

"Did he hurt you? At all?"

"No, he wasn't very aggressive."

"Does Ej know?"

"No, he doesn't."

"Ok that's changing right now." I say grabbing my phone. I scroll through my contacts and see our old group chat from high school. I decide it would be better to call everyone.

"Nini, do you want to be in the call?"

She nods her head and sits right next to me.

I press he group chat facetime and almost everyone picks up. I look at Nini to see her smiling.

"Ricky? What's up, we haven't called on the group chat for like, a year? Is everything ok?" red says.

"Actually no, something is wrong."

I say right as Ej and Gina join the call.

"What happened? Is Nini ok?" Ej asks

"Kinda? She is right here." I say as she waves to everyone.

"Do you want to tell them?" I ask Nini and she shakes her head no

"Ok." I put my arm around her and kiss her forehead.

"Ethan is blackmailing Nini to be with him because she is famous"

"WHAT? Ok I'll be there in 10 minutes with a pitchfork" Seb says grabbing his phone and running outside.

"Seb! Wait you can do that tomorrow! Right now, we need to figure out a plan.

Seb's face fell as he walks back inside, disappointed.

"Does everyone still live here in Salt Lake?" I ask and everyone nods their heads.

"Ok meet me at the old café we used to go to in," I check my phone to see that its only 9:30 "20 minutes. Okay?"

"yep" Kourtney says

"we'll be there" Ej says

"ok"

"Got it!"

"So, no pitchforks?" Seb says

Nini laughs "no Seb, no pitchforks. Yet."

"Bye guys!" I say and everyone says bye. We hang up and start getting ready to go to the café.

"Ricky?" Nini asks

"Yes?"

"Can I please wear one of your hoodies?"

I laugh "of course you can. They're all in my closet."

Before she goes to grab one, she runs up to me and gives me a big hug "Thank you so much Ricky. I don't know what I would do without you!"

"I missed you so much while I was gone." I say hugging her back

"I missed you too"

hello!!!!! How r u guys doing? I know I said I wasn't updating but I decided I was going to finish this book and then it would be easier to update my other ones.

So, for now, stop on the way to your soulmate and love story are on hold.

Omg this is probably one of the longest chapters I've written but it's still so short!
