NINAS POV
Ace pulls into the hotel parking lot and sighs.
" Nina-"
" I'm okay, Ace. Me and him. Were done. It's not high school anymore. I shouldn't of thought he would wait for almost four years." I say and he looks at me.
His blue eyes piercing into my brown ones.
" if you actually think he moved on you're and idiot. And you know it." He says and I don't reply.
I unbuckle my seatbelt and fin wakes up looking around yawning.
" Where are we?" He asks laying his head back on my shoulder.
" we're gonna crash here for tonight." I mumble and opens the car door.
" thank you Ace. It was nice to see you, again." I say and he nods.
I walk towards the hotel and then hear the car door slam shut and running after me.
I turn around with wide eyes.
" At least let me pay." He says and I look back between him and the door.
" no. No, I couldn't. I wouldn't." I say and he puts his hand up.
" Nina I make almost 3 million every month. This is nothing." He says confidently and my eyes widen and he chuckles at my reaction.
TIME SKIP
" how many days?" Ace voice bring me out of the trance i was just in.
"Five." I mumble and bite the inside of my cheek.
Something doesn't feel right. The man at the desk hands Ace a key card and smiles. The guys creepy black eyes looks at me and instantly looks away as soon as our eyes meet.
" something doesn't feel right." I mumble as me and Ace walk to the elevator.
" I'll stay with you tonight and send Bailey over tomorrow." Ace mumbles back and presses the third floor.
ACES POV
i wake up and yawn. I sit up and the white blanket falls from me and I get up. I look around the room.
The tvs still on and blasting loud.
I turn off the tv and turn back around. Where's Nina?
Fin is laying on the bed passed out. I smile shaking my head. I walk out from the bedroom part and into the living room and walk in area and still no Nina. I look around confused.
The bathroom.
The bathroom door is closed but there's no water running or any noise at all.
I knock on the door.
" Nina?" I question and knock again.
Fin wakes up and jumps off the bed.
" where's mom?" He asks and I look back and forth between the door and fin.
" shes in the bathroom. Go back to bed." I mumble as calm as I can.
Nina wouldn't want him to worry.
I knock once more and still no answer.
" Nina!" I say a little louder and still no response.
" is my mom okay?" Fin asks still in the way.
Nina doesn't want him to ever see her hurt. So why does he keep pushing it.
" Nina I'm coming in!" I say ignoring his question to worried for Nina's safety.
I go to open the door and all I can get open is a crack. I push the door harder and when I get a better look inside I see Nina laying against the door unconscious.
" Oh my god."
" Mom-" fin tries to look into the door too but I push him back.
" fin. Go to bed." I demand and push through the door.
Fin doesn't move. He's a copy of flash exactly. Same protectiveness of Nina too.
I fall to my knees by Nina's side and put my finger to her neck.
" you better not be faking your death again Carson." I mumble and feel her heart moving slowly but still moving.
I look around not knowing what to do, I look up at fin and he walks inside the bathroom grabbing a rag off the counter of the bathroom getting it wet with water putting it on her face.
" mom?" fin asks mumbles relatively calm.
" fin-"
" She'll be fine. It happens a lot." He interrupts me.
Ninas eyes open slightly and I breath for what feels like the first time since I thought she died.
" I- I'm sorry.." she mumbles and fin moves the rag and places his head on hers.
" it's okay.." he mumbles back and I look at the both of them shocked.
She still has panic attacks?
Nina holds onto fin tears falling from her eyes.
My heart breaks. She definitely doesn't deserve this. Why do bad things happen to good people?
" Fin go watch tv.. I have to talk to your mommy." I say and fin looks at her and she nods. He looks at her one more time before walking out.
" what triggered them? I thought you got rid of them after you went to the hospital a couple years back?" I ask and Nina sits up letting her back rest against the wall.
" Ever since I left flash. It was like I couldn't breath without knowing If he was okay." She says and plays with her hands
" they didn't give you your medicine? To help with them?" I ask and she looks up.
" oh please.. They didn't even give me notice if flash was okay. I wrote letters for him. The first two years and stopped. I told him about fin. And me." Nina says and laughs tears falling from her eyes.
"The letters got destroyed in the fight when you guys first found me." Nina says and I look down.
" I've always envied how much you guys love each other." I say and she looks at me
" Loved." She tries to correct me.
" Loved, isn't you guys." I say and she looks at me for a minute before shaking her head looking at the ground.
She doesn't want to accept that there's a chance they both still love each other.
Even if flash has said it straight to her face. Which he did.
" I'll call Bailey. Me and my team are gonna go back to that mansion and get all of you and fins stuff, that's not destroyed." I say after some time standing up.
" No-" she says standing up too. She's probably worried about us.
" Nina get some rest. Don't worry about us." I say and kiss her head.
" also Nyah is coming here." I say too make her feel better and sure enough she smiles.
" from high school?" She asks and I nod.
" Get sleep. I'll send her over here when you're awake. Do you want flash to come?" Almost like a bomb went off her smile stopped and her face almost looked like a ghost.
Her face now super white, like she was about to throw up.
"Nina?"
