February 6th, 2021 Enterprise Condos San Francisco, California about a week later
Saturday Night 7:00 PM
"We gotta go Chanel" Klay walked into the bathroom dressed and ready to go. Opening the bathroom drawer he pulled out the gold cuff links he bought from his jeweler the other day. They weren't exactly running late but Klay hated siting in California traffic its always a never ending headache after eight pm.

"I'm waiting on you" She responded back while taking her pictures in the mirror.
He looked at her outfit in the mirror and nodded in approval, "Oh shit my fault, you'll put these cuff links on for me."
She took the box out from his hand and placed it on the sink before attaching the links on both sleeves "Like this?"
He kissed her cheek and swept her hair back behind her ear, "Perfect. Ima go put Rocco up in the guest room then we can head out."
"Don't forget to grab the grab the gift out the closet too."
"Yeah, thank you for reminding me."
"Mhm after I put my heels on I'm ready."
The occasion for the night happened to be Steph's 32nd birthday dinner/party that his wife Ayesha had planned for him. She was known for going overboard and over the top with her parties so it was bound to be a good night with good food and music. Klay was in rather good mood being that it was his best friends birthday & he was finally able to spend sometime with his girl.
Which, was ironic because ever since her ex popped up at her place she and her sister had been staying at his place so you'd think he saw her everyday. But just how he worked constantly so did she, when he would leave for practice early in the morning she would be sleep. Then when he finally comes back after a day of working she would be getting ready for either work at the club or the studio. So all in all he was just pleased that they could spend some actual time with each other tonight.
