"I told you not to do anything." Seokmin sighed as he sat down on the other bed in front of Shua who has his hand bandaged.

"And what? Let them harass you? No," Joshua said as he saw Seokmin look down. "Listen okay? I would rather spend millions than seeinf you on that situation."

"Josh, I am really, really thankful," Seokmin started as he looked up seeing Joshua sighing through his nose and relaxed. "But, you can't do that, Josh, that's five million, I don't know how to pay you back."

"Well, you don't have to-"

"Well my guilt says otherwise."

Joshua sighed again as he sat down properly in front of Seokmin. "How about this, you work for me right, you pay with your service, I give you half of your payment."

Seokmim just nodded, not thinking anything but those bleeding knuckles covered with bandage.

Joshua quick noticed it. He just smiled and ruffled Seokmin's hair. "Don't worry, it was worth it."

Seokmin nodded as he looked down. Both of them are silent. Both of them have things in their mind.

Seokmin thinking about Joshua's knuckles and the money. While Josh...

"Not being offensive, but can I ask you a question?"

Seokmin nodded.

"What did they say about you can pay it whole? Why are they doing thi- no, how did you get connected to them?"

Well that was a bit personal. Seokmin blinked in shock. He didn't know if he can be trusted. But seeing Joshua's eyes spark of serious concern and curiosity, he relaxed and look down.

"You know my background about my room," seokmin started and shua nodded. "She will know I took money from my debit card."

"Still not satisfied."

"Fine, my parents died."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

Seokmin smiled. Not even a single pain expression can be seen.

"It's fine, they didn't treat me as a son so I don't treat them as my parents, yeah they died and left me a huge amount of debt, starting when I was having a job at my grandmother's bakery, I started paying them little by little. They understood me and sometimes play with me, so I grew old about their punches and shits which is actually just joking, earlier, I don't know if they are joking since I don't know them very well, so I am very thankful for you Shua."

Seokmin sighed as he looked up at the ceiling.

"I know I can just tell my grandma about my parents' things, she did a lot to me, I owe my li- more than my life actually, she runs a lot of business and I can't add another stress to her after she raised me on her own."

Josh sighed as he looked at his injured hand. "Then let me help you."

"Seok-seok-seokminnie! Give me some cupcakes please!" sing Soonyoung as Seokmin laughed at him. "Okay, I'll add that to tomorrow's menu."

"Yay! You really love me!" Seokmin chuckled as Soonyoung hugged him from behind. "Okay okay, your wish got granted now, go back to work," Jihoon said and pushed Soonyoung back at the counter.

Seokmin smiled as he added Soonyoung's request and think of another dessert for next week. "Cinnamon rolls," a voice suddenly boomed beside Seokmin which made him flinch. "cinnamon rolls, I love your cinnamon rolls."

joshua smiled as he saw seokmin added it to the list for Monday. "it's good to start something sweet in Mondays to boost everyone's mood."

"hey," called josh as he sat down in front of seokmin. "you su-"

"josh, i told you i'm fine, no need to help," said seokmin as he looked at josh fondly. "i know my ways, josh, i do these things since i am twelve years old, if I needed help, I wouldv'e told my friends already."

"seokmin! better get fast i'll get going!" he heard chan and he quickly wrote things to cook that pop in his mind. "here, thanks, josh."

seokmin quickly ran inside the locker room and changed. seokmin has been convincing by josh for days, but he still turned him down. he knows he will regret it, but for peace and shua's sake, it is more than anything.

these days he goes with chan to the building. since that day when those new comers threat him about his grandmother, he is scared to walk alone at night.

he knows he is brave but, he is scared about things turn out if he is waking late at night. whenever he goes out for work, he will heat something for breakfast and take a cab to the cafe.

joshua was sat in his island in front of a big glass window seeing the city in his laptop playing a video.

after finishing watching the whole vid, he dialed someone and stared at the people.

"hey, i recieved it."

"yes sir, we deleted the video from the cctv of the university before the dean got hold of it."

"good, now, do a background check on these people."

"yes sir."

Joshua sighed as he drank his wine dark and late at night replaying the video again and again. he knows it is creepy, but for seokmin's sake, why not?
