Thanks for the reviews. I'm working on a story on and this one. I write a chapter for one story and then work on a chapter for the other. So that way I work on them evenly. Well not so this time. This one is longer already, but I want to work on it.Chapter 4
Leigh sat in her U.S. History class once again. She listened as Professor West talked about the Second World War. But her mind was somewhere she would never confess to anyone.
Leigh hid her fantasies. No one knew about them. Amanda was really only just her roommate. To her she had no friends. She didn't let anyone get close to her. In the past, Leigh had friends that were close, but they had all betrayed her. One day they would be her friend and not the next. Or they moved, leaving her all alone in the town.
Professor West went on about Hitler until the end of class. Leigh gathered her things and walked out as quickly as she could. Thank goodness I know that I'm finished for the day. But to be sure I'll check Professor Peoples office to be sure.
Quickly she made her way to the Science building. She stood in front of Professor Peoples's office. There on the door was a notice. Biology 101: Class is cancelled today and next week of course. Read Chapters 20-25 for next week.
Leigh smiled and made her way out of the building.Great. Since this the Friday before Spring break, I won't have class at all for the next ten days. Well at least I know how he does his classes. I can read the chapters in a few hours and still be able to work on the work for my other classes and then relax.
Looking around at the nice spring day, Leigh smiled. It wasn't her favorite time of year, but it was cooler than summer and not as cold as winter. She settled her backpack and headed towards her car. The little beat up car had served her well for the last few years. The little Stanza was her first car. Her dad had gotten it for her once she got her license at eighteen. Unlocking the driver's doors, she swung her backpack to her hand. She threw it in the back seat and slide into the driver's seat. Slamming the door, she rolled down the window and then put the key in the ingestion.
Suddenly a hand reached into the opened the window. Leigh looked at the man whose hand was on her arm. He had blonde hair and brown. Most women would say he was hot and would start to flirt with him, but Leigh became very frightened by him. Something in his eyes made her want to turn that key and get out of there as fast as she could.
"Hi there."
"Hi. Let go of me."
"Now why should I?" He looked at her with a smile, but that didn't help the look in his eyes.
"I believe the lady said to let her go, Dwaine."
The blonde turned to look at the man standing not too far way next to a very nice motorcycle.
"Well, isn't little Blake."
XOXOX
Blake watched Dwaine slowly moved his hand off of Leigh and turn to face him. The blonde looked at him.
"I thought I smelled you on her. So little Blake is going after a female at last. Shame she's going to be mine."
Blake glanced at Leigh. "Leigh, get out of here."
Dwaine turned, but Leigh started the car and sped out of sight. He turned back to Blake.
"Do you really think you can stop me?"
Blake moved towards him. "I'm no fool. I know that you never keep a mate. You use and then leave them."
Dwaine smirked at him. "Of course. These humans are nothing to us."
