It was almost dark by the time Samar and I returned to college after the meeting with the so called Weirdo.
As soon as we entered college Samar went in search of my bunch of friends whereas I whilst I walked towards the open space in the college and occupied a quiet space where we could discuss about the Fest.

Luckily only 4 - 5 were present the Lagaan (Open Area). I went toward the bottom corner where it was more cosier.
I opened the file and the just went through the Sponsor's demands while the others come.
"Woah Bro, looks like you finally managed to impress the Sponsor huh?!" Sanjay exclaimed from the top of the stairs startling the other students Seated in the Lagaan where as I shook my head at his childish behaviour. And gave him a look meaning Would please bother to come here and show off your excitement.
He gave a sheepish grin in return and ran towards and hugged me saying, " See I told ya that this one would definitely get impressed!"
"Well to be honest I don't think he's actually impressed!" I said letting him go.
He gave a confused expression as if to ask Could you bother to explain?!
"Ha Yaar I will explain but before that tell me where are the others." I said looking around searching for the others.
"They having Dinner, Samar also joined them bus Aate hi Honge! (They'll be here)" Sanjay said.
"Btw you didn't still say about how the meeting went?" He asked.
I shook my head and narrated him the whole story.
"So, you think that he's having a personal motive behind this sponsor thing?" He asked finally after grabbing every detail.
"There's nothing to think it's obvious, but kya hai Woh Nahi pata (what's that is only not known)" I said firmly.
"Whatever it is, why should we worry as long as it doesn't affect our function. Tu zyada Soch mat (Don't overthink)" He said as he sat on the stairs.
I walked and sat beside him, "Yes mate, I also thought the same... We'll see!" I said half heartedly.
"Wah you guys are having your chit chatting here!" Ayash exclaimed out of nowhere.
"Exactly, I thought Sanjay came here to get you so that you too can have dinner and then we could finalize the theme.. but Yaha Tu Kuch aur hi chal Raha hai(Something else is happening here)" Imran sided with Ayash.
I looked at Sanjay in question, You came here to get me to have dinner? To which he held his ears and muttered, "Sorry Yaar Woh I was too interested in listening to your story nah so bhul gayi(forgot)!"
"That's okay, waise I was not hungry so I'll have later." I said, "Now, shall move on to for finalizing the theme?"
"Haan Bhaiya, anyway we need to work on with decoration by tomorrow now that we have the sponsor ready!" Samar said excited.
"Waah beta, You are too keen in your work huh?!!!" Ankit said pulling his shoulders.
"If not he has to be na, even though we are helping, He's the one who's got to deal with the Dean nah!" Imran supported him.
"Arey enough of your nok jokes, let's get it work, Can I get the list of your your shortlisted ideas?" I said before they get carried away in their masti.
"Of course of course why not, in fact short listing was not at all a big deal, out of all only one was the best, but still we have shortlisted five, now try and find out which one could be the best!" Sanjay said grinning.
"Haan ab tera test hai (Yes now it's your test), try and pass this!" The rest of my Dumbo friends chorused
Kuch Tu chal Raha hai inke Khurafati dimaag Main!! (Something is definitely running in their devilish minds) "Ajay be careful" My mind warned me.

At least I was not too late this time 🤭! But yeah not early too!!
So this is the shortest chapter I've written so far, was confused what should I name the chapter and after wacking my brain I thought I'll dedicate it to Ajay's friends as they are with him all the time, and yeah I uploaded the short chapter reason being that I somehow decided that I need to update soon but still without letting go of the flow of the story so yeah there you go!
What do you this will Ajay be able to choose Anaya's theme as the best??
