(Fazbear Frights stuff! Gonna be a LOT of this for a while)
The school bell rang. Jeremy stood up with a relieved smile, picking up his backpack and throwing it onto his back. Finally, the last school bell he'd ever hear. Finally done school for good. He didn't plan to go to college, just like his other friends Josh and Keith.
Out into the hallway he went, not paying attention to much else as he walked. His thoughts were just on what he'd be doing this summer. The one downside of being 18 was that he'd need a full time job. But at least he had a car, which was good because he could finally move into the house his friend got for him. He was lucky to have a friend that would even do that, mainly because that friend came from a rich family.
But fast forward to later that night since nothing interesting really happened, Jeremy was finally settled into his new house. A cozy two story house. He just went to the kitchen to make himself some microwave noodles. And while there, he decided to check on his appearance in the window.
Jeremy was a nice looking young man. He had a face clear of ant acne. His eyes were a slightly darker shade of blue. He did wear glasses with a thin rim and more rectangular lenses. Black and curly hair was all over the place. But he still smiled and pushed off the counter, taking his jacket off and throwing it onto the nearby chair.
Minutes later he was just sitting on the couch with his noodles and the tv on. He didn't even question why he was doing this at 1 in the morning. And he didn't see a problem with it.
About 20 minutes later he was passed out on his couch, lights still on. But as time went on, the weirdness started. Somewhere in the house tiny footsteps were heard. That didn't wake up Jeremy since they weren't very loud. But what did wake him up was the sound of his front door opening.
He shot right up after hearing that. His gaze immediately went over to his front door, only to find it closed and locked. His heartbeat definitely increased in speed. He did not want to deal with audio hallucinations. After a little bit of waiting, he slowly laid back down on his couch and went back to sleep.
Minutes later, he was awoken to the sound of something running around the house. He was definitely freaked out but assumed it was just his head playing tricks on him. He was alone. Nothing was with him. But the tapping sounds from within certain walls was definitely driving him crazy. He hated prolonged tapping sounds for some odd reason.
So he got right up off the couch, looking around and immediately jumping in fear once something touched his leg. And just like everything else that's happened, nothing was there! So he went to a more open area of the room, just standing there and looking around.
His head throbbed with slight pain as the noises seemed to come from all around. But nothing ever showed up. Not a single thing. The sound of footsteps, giggling, tv static, and even the clicking of locks was heard in his head, then it all just stopped when he closed his eyes. But the numbers 1:35 flashed in his vision even with the eyes closed. So his eyes snapped open, only to fall onto something he definitely never had before.
He saw a quick glimpse of a small face. The colors of light blue and a shade of pink flashed in his visions. Then as quick as it appeared, it was gone. And he was left thoroughly freaked out. So back to the couch he went to lay down and just think.
Hours passed and morning hit. Jeremy woke up slowly, his glasses crooked on his face and his hair a mess. He had fallen asleep on the couch last night. It was about 10 in the morning now. He couldn't think too straight at the moment, so his phone ringing got him to wake up.
Upon answering the phone, he was greeted with the voice of Keith. The call boiled down to there was a garage sale nearby and something that Jeremy might like was spotted there. After hanging up, Jeremy decided he might as well go check it out.
So after the short walk there, and spotting a box that he was interested in, Jeremy paid for it and went back home. The box was pretty plain yet pretty big. Maybe 3 feet tall and kinda hefty. Yet he couldn't shake the feeling of nervousness when holding that box. So he pushed it to the back of his mind and went back homeThe box had been sitting on the counter for hours now. Jeremy hesitated with opening it plenty of times. His gut feeling said to open it, yet the logical side of him didn't want to open it. So after a little big of pacing around and downing an entire water bottle, he finally took a knife and cut open the box.
Inside the box, the first thing he saw was a blue hat. Confusion and curiosity took over as he picked up the hat. He stared down at the dirty blonde and curly hair. The head moved back. He froze on the spot as he stared into the black eyes of the doll that were just barely visible. He didn't get a great look at her after that. A painful headache hit him immediately.
Away he went from the box, and right to to his room to get some rest for this whole sudden headache thing. Not much happened during those hours. Just sleeping on and off until he fell fully asleep by 12 at night
He was woken by the sound of his door slowly opening. Now it was maybe around 1:30 in the morning, but he immediately shot up and looked around in a state of panic. But when he looked to the door, it was still closed.
Many minutes of trying to fall asleep went by. But there was this sense of someone else in the room that he couldn't shake off. The occasional sound of little footsteps running across the floor, walls, or ceiling put him on edge.
He was constantly scanning the room, trying to find a clue to what was going on. He was pushing back the feeling of paranoia being forced into his body. He wasn't gonna let it win over him. He was better then that, and the thing causing all this! But it didn't take long for him to start connecting the dots a tiny bit.
The first time this happened he saw a face for a split second. All he could make out at that time was a small face. This...this might be the same thing. That was his conclusion and he was set on that. So he stood up and grabbed his headphones nearby. Maybe making the sounds muffled would stop the effect.
His first instinct was to grab a book he had in his room before leaving. Could be used as a weapon if needed. So he went into the dark hallway and stayed right there. No idea what he was doing, but he was gonna solve this issue even if it came to using force.
After a little while, something touched his shoulder. He immediately spun around and hoped he hit whatever it was with the book. He did hear something hit the floor with a thud.
Keeping the headphones on, he flicked the lights on and looked at what was on the floor. A blue hat was on the hat of that same doll that was in the box earlier. He stared down at her, her empty black eyes staring up at him. Neither of them moved. It was...an awkward yet tense moment.
But now Jeremy got to examine her features. Shoulder length dirty blonde hair, which was very curly. She didn't have very pronounced facial features, but her bright red cheeks and lips definitely made her eye catching. Then she stood up. Only 3 feet tall. Blue dress with puffy shoulders. There was a pink ribbon tied around her waist, which was neatly decorated with faded paint. The blue of her dress was also rather faded. Her black shoes looked a bit messed up. Dirty. Mostly dirty. The joints that allowed her movement were somehow perfectly fine. But her main feature, which definitely confused Jeremy a little bit, was her curves. He couldn't exactly tell how big they were. He just knew the buttons on her chest were strained, since her chest was sticking out 3-4 inches at the current moment.
He eventually snapped out of his staring state and slowly took off the headphones. She didn't do anything except put her hands on her hips. That almost made him flinch a bit.
Why am I scared of a doll?
That thought ran through his head a lot in the next few seconds. He didn't know what to do with her, since he didn't want to know what she could do if he tried to get rid of her.
"...the hell am I going to do with you?" He asked himself, not knowing what was gonna be in store for him later on
