"Jess come on, let's go!" Parker yells across their apartment, trying to get Jess to hurry up. "We have to get there early and make sure mom and Luke actually get married this time!" She yells, and Jess pops his head out of their bedroom.

Looking over at her, he tosses a bag onto the couch, before going back to ruffling through a drawer in the bathroom. "Yeah yeah I'll be right there." He says, seeming distracted. "She came back from a hiking trip for him, I'm sure she won't leave again. Besides, he supplies her with coffee."

"What are you even looking for?" Parker asks him, but she only gets unintelligible mumblings as he continues to search. Parker laughs at his absentmindedness, opting instead to let him figure it out on his own. "Alright then, I'm going to go start the car, don't forget to lock up the bookstore as you go." She says.

Jess finally finds what he is looking for, before hiding it under his clothes in the bag he had tossed onto the couch. Walking quickly downstairs, he locks the bookstore, and flips the closed sign, before getting into the car and driving away.

Jess sits in an armchair in the living room, reading a book as Parker sits down on the floor, in front of the chair. One of his hands runs through her hair, as she sits through emails from the hospital.

Parker sighs, and Jess looks up from his book, furrowing his eyebrows. "Everything alright?" He asks her, concerned.

Parker tilts her head back, looking up at him. "Yeah, sorry. I just missed a big surgery, and Elijah got to assist on a brain tumor." She says, and Jess laughs.

Over the past few years, they have moved in together, and he got a first person view of her demanding schedule. But it was worth it for when she came home and excitedly ranted about surgeries. He loved to see how much she loved it, and he found her focused face very cute.

At this moment, Luke walks down the stairs, adjusting his tie as he walked. "Wow, where's Right Said Fred when you need them?" Jess jokes, closing the book.

Luke, ever clueless, shows them a pocket square, shrugging. "The guy who sold me this suit put this in the box, I don't know what the hell to do with it." He says, and Parker bursts out laughing, standing and taking it from him. "What?" He asks her as she laughs.

"It's a pocket square Luke, do the math." Jess says, sitting up straighter.

Parker folds and tucks the pocket square into his pocket, Luke smiling at her thankfully. "Oh it looks kind of nice." He says, patting his pocket with his hand and standing up a little straighter, feeling good about himself. "So, this is the big outfit for tomorrow, get it all out now." Luke says, opening his arms for them to see it properly, waiting for them to make fun of him.

"Turn around." Parker says, and Luke looks at her in disdain.

"Parker.." he says, but Jess cuts him off, backing Parker up.

"Turn." He says, and Luke gives in, slowly spinning around for them to take it in.

"Well?" Luke asks, still anticipating jokes from them.

Jess smiles, pointing to him. "You are a very handsome man." He says, and Luke rolls his eyes.

"Alright-" Luke says.

"I mean, very hot." Jess adds, joking around but still offering the compliment.

"I got it." Luke says, uncomfortable with the compliments.

"Rande Gerber hot." Parker adds, joining in on the fun.

"Enough." Luke says.

"Hey." Jess says, his tone more serious now. "You look good." He says, meaning it sincerely.
