"Let's date"

Napaawang ang kanyang labi. Hindi agad siya kumibo. Hanggang sumilay ang ngiti sa kanyang labi. I've been thinking about this. I want to know if his true to his words. Tita Isabel is right. Paano mo malalaman kung hindi mo susubukan.  Paano ko malalaman kung malinis ba ang intensyon niya at totoo ba lahat ng sinabi niya kung hindi ko bibigyan ng pagkakataon.

Nagulat ako nang bigla niya hilahin para yakapin . I felt his warm hug. I hugged him back. He caresses my hair gently. I can almost hear his heartbeat.

"Thank you, Alina. You made me the happiest man tonight. I will not waste the chance.....damn my heart is pounding like crazy. You're the only one who can make my heart is going crazy."

"Haven't I told you yet?  You caught my attention on the first day of class, in the cafeteria."

"But I saw you kissing someone in the arena" Bulong ko.

"I tried to divert my attention but I failed, you always get my attention and it's okay, as long as it's you who I will give my attention to "

Mahina akong tumawa nang maalala ang pinangalan ko sa kanya noon. Bumitaw ako sa yakap saka siya hinarap.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked.

"I named you 'Mr. Kissing in a broad daylight' , umagang umaga may katukaan"

He chuckled. " It was because of you, Alina"

"How about kissing right here? At this overlooking view" Mapanuyang dugtong niya.

Agad akong umiwas ng tingin. "Shut up"

I heard him laugh. Napatingin ako sa kanya. Bakit lalo siyang pumopogi pag tumatawa? This is illegal. His laugh is like a to my ears. Gosh, nababaliw na yata ako.

Hindi ko mapagilang ngumiti. This is one of the happiest birthday I had. I can't take off my eyes from this fascinating view. The food is perfect, the ambiance is perfect. I'm thankful to Symone for bringing me here.

"Symone" tawag ko sa kanya. "Wag muna natin sabihin kila Ali ang tungkol sa atin, that we're dating"

"Don't worry, Ali knows about my feelings for you"

My eyes widened. "Anong sinabi niya? Anong reaksiyon niya?"

"He punched me in the face"

"What?!"

I can't imagine that Ali punched him. Is he insane?

"He didn't trust me then but eventually I gained his trust. He cares about for you and he can't afford to see you get hurt, and he knows that I'm pursuing you"

"I got his point, pero hindi naman kailangan na manuntok, diba?"

"He was shocked"

Nanununtok palansiya pagnagugulat. Mas oa pa ang reaksiyon niya kesa akin. But I appreciate his concern. Kahit hindi kami close noon, he still cares for me.

"Are you going to tell your friends about this?" He asked.

"Oo, pero hahanap muna ako ng tamang timing"

Alam kong mabibigla sila pag sinabi ko. Lalo na si Novie, baka mag hysterical siya. Mauubos ang laway ko sa kanila, for sure papaulanan nila ako ng maraming tanong. Ini- imagine ko palang, ang gulo na. Ang oa pa naman ng mga reaksyon nila.

"Are you okay? You look problematic"

I smiled "I am okay"

"Let's plans for our future" Biglaang sabi niya.
