It was around 11 when the door bell of chi chi and goku's house rung. Gohan was up in his room.
"Coming!" Said chi chi,wondering who must've come at such a peculiar time. She absentmindedly opened the door,still lost in her thoughts."honestly,chi chi,if I were to be an enemy,what would you do with your head up in the clouds huh?"

"Y/N!oh my kami!"said chi chi,a bit startled "it's been so long,where have you been!"

Chi chi,you and Goku had been friends since you all were 9. Your parents were unfortunately killed by frieza and you somehow ended up with them. You were trained by master roshi and knew flying.

"Come in,my god!such a surprise " chi chi said as she ran around the house getting you food.
"Hmm..decided to drop by,you haven't changed much,still my old fussy chi chi" you said,smirking slightly. Chi chi chuckled.

"Gohan!come down,we have guests" chi chi called. Gohan(he's 7 here) came running down but stopped abruptly at the sight of you with your sword.
"Say hi to miss y/n,she's your father and i's old friend ". Gohan bowed with a nervous hello.
"God damn chi chi,its been long,but since when did you have a son. My my,he looks a lot like goku" you said,examining the small boy. You smiled at him,so as to ease him up. He seemed to become a little less tense. "Oh! I think I might have something for you". You searched your bag,finally producing a small dagger. You moved over to gohan and carefully handed him the weapon." Sorry,this was unprepared but this is the best I can give you as a swordfigther". Gohan took it curiously and then looked at you "will you teach me how to fight with swords too?"" Everyday,if you want to" you offered,smiling by the boys curiosity.
At the same time Goku entered the house "chi chi,I'm really hung- hey! Y/n,when did you come!"

As you were catching up with goku,something struck chi chi. " y/n,you still haven't told why you actually came here". You sighed,you really cant lie to chi chi. " I lost my job.." you explained to her as to why you lost your job."yeah,so I'm looking for some place to live. Speaking of that,I think I should leave now." You said preparing to get up when you were halted by chi chi.
"No!you can live with us"
"But it's an inconvenience,I don't want to be a burden on you"
"You're our friend! Don't you dare say that you are an inconvenience. you are going to live with us,its final"
"But-"
"No,I'm not hearing anything"
"Fine" you said,rubbing your neck,chi chi really stubborn.

✨Time skip✨

You were still in the living room talking to chi chi when piccolo came back from his meditating. You nearly spilled the water in your hands as you saw the nakemian  enter the house so freely. "Chi chi, Goku,you have exactly 5 minutes to explain before I explode"

"He's changed" Goku started...

After half an hour, goku had explained everything to you on how piccolo is not evil anymore." Damn,Goku. You nearly gave me a cardiac arrest there" you sat back,slightly chuckling. Piccolo sat down at the table,staring at you a bit.
"You can trust him,come on. He's the one who trains Gohan" said chi chi as she prepared for dinner. "I have my reasons not to,chi chi,you know damn well. Fools are the ones who wear their hearts on their sleeves and think that trust is a thing to throw around like brochures"
"Geez,fine!" Said chi,amused.
"I agree with the last part" muttered piccolo. You glanced at him,should you really trusted him?
