THAT DAY AT NURSERY
I came back from the toilet, I noticed Zee with a little piggy.
"Oh hi Zee, who's this?" I asked
"Who are you do you know Zee, she can't talk." the little piggy said.
"Liar! Yes she can!" I shouted, "Hi Zee."
Zee just waved in reply.
"Uh Zee, you going to speak?" I, asked.
Zee shook, her head.
'What's gotten into her?' I thought.
"We, should get to Nursery, I'm Georgie." Georgie said.
"I'm Zuzy, Zee's twin sister, Zee used to speak." I, said.
Georgie nodded in reply. We ran to Nursery. We were all out of breath.
"Sorry we're late miss!" Georgie apologised.
"It's ok, just try to be on time next time." The teacher replied. We sat down on the carpeted floor. The teacher turned her back and began writing on the board. A cheetah came and looked threw the door, he smiled evily at Zee . She looked down sadly.
'Was he the reason she wouldn't speak?' I thought.
Georgie's, little piggy eyes stared into Zee's. Of course i was only a toddler so I thought nothing of it at the time.
Finally it was lunch! Yes! Me, Georgie and Zee, sat, a table together.
"Want to be, friends?" He asked politely.
Me and Zee nodded in reply then we hugged eachother.
"Best friends." I said.
Georgie and Zee nodded.
Then it was home time, I ran to Zizzy and hugged her.
"Did you have a good day?" Zizzy asked.
"Yeah it was the best but Zee won't talk to me." I said.
"What's wrong Zee?" Zizzy asked kneeling to her level.
Zee stood there scratching her right arm looking sad.
"Why won't you speak?" Zizzy asked clearly confused.
Zee said nothing.
"Hm, let's see what mom has to say about it." Zizzy muttered. We walked home, Zee, hadn't spoken a word ever since that day...
I sat down on my bed thinking when the doorbell rang. I was now 11, I was in, Year 6. Zee ran downstairs. She came back upstairs with Georgie.
" Hey Zuzy!" Georgie said, he, was 12 and in Year 7.
"Hey!" I replied. Zee and Georgie sat on my bed with me.
"Zee won't even write to anyone now." I, whispered in Georgie's ear.
"She won't write to me either." He, whispered back.
"Hey Zee, why won't you communicate with us?" I asked Zee.
Zee's pupils shrunk she layed back on my bed.
"Uh Zee?" Georgie asked. She laid there staring upwards.
"Zee?" I asked. She sat up then immediately she ran out my bedroom.
"ZEE!" We, screamed. She ran out outside and slammed the house door. We opened it and found her crying on the doorstep.
"Oh, Zee." I, whispered, rubbing her back. Georgie hugged her.
"It's ok, it's alright." He whispered. She continued crying for an hour, and Georgie hugged her for an hour. Then finally he let go.
"It's alright Zee." He, whispered. I had no idea, why she was crying, it was so strange. She, stood up and we walked back inside.
