CHAPTER 18 (Mimi)

BOOM! We jumped. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"What's going on?" Georgie asked.

"It sounds like enemy fire." William replied. I looked at the speaker in our room.

"EVERYONE EVACUTE THE BUILDING, WE ARE BEING ATTACKED!" Sgt. Thomases voice said through the speaker. An infected teleported right in front of William, he punched it in the face.

"GET THE KIDS OUT OF HERE, I'LL HOLD THEM OFF!" William shouted, as another infected appeared. Me, Georgie, Zee and Zuzy ran. Georgie suddenly looked terrified. A shadowy figure jumped down, from a hole in the ceiling. The shadowy figure pulled out a pistol, and aimed it at us. I stood in front of the kids, shielding them. I saw more infected appear. Some rubble, fell on top of the Military rhino we saw yesterday. I saw a pipe fall on top of a Military hamster's leg. Two more shadowy figures jumped down from the ceiling. One had katanas. Another had, a hammer. I saw a Military crocodile, fighting a pig infected. Sgt. Thomas jumped on top of the shadowy figure in front of us.

"RUN!" He shouted. An alarm blared.

"PLEASE EVACUTE THE BUILDING, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, PLEASE EVACUTE THE BUILDING THIS IS NOT A DRILL, BE WOO, BE WOO." It went. Zee fell to her kness, she put her hands on her head.

"Zee what's wrong?" Georgie asked. Suddenly Georgie was pulled into a room, by an infected. Zuzy looked at me.

"What do we do?" She asked. We could help the soldiers, Zee, or Georgie.

"I'm going to help, Georgie, you help Zee." I said, I ran into the room, Georgie was dragged into. He kicked the infected in the face. More teleported in front of him. He punched, one in the face, and he chucked a box at one.

"Georgie, are you ok?" I asked.

"I can handle myself Mimi, yes, I'm ok." Georgie replied.

"Good." I said, relieved. We ran out the room. The Military soldiers, were overwhelmed. The crocodile had been scratched, by an infected and Sgt. Thomas had been shot. I ran over to the Military hamster. I threw the pipe off her leg.

"Thanks." She said. Then she ran off to help, someone.

(Zee)

I appeared, in the purple man's dimension.

"I can stop all this, Zee you just need to make a, deal with me." The purple man whispered.

"STOP, GO AWAY, SHUT UP!" I screamed.

"That's quite rude of you." He whispered.

"I DON'T CARE, STAY AWAY FROM ME, STAY AWAY FROM EVERYONE, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" I screamed.

"You've left me with no choice, it's time I destroy you and everyone else once and for all!" He shouted.

I was back in the military base, I looked around, stone gateways were everywhere. Georgie was next to me, holding my hand, and Zuzy was as well. Mimi stood in front of us, I don't think she could see the gateways though. I tried to speak, but I could only speak in the purple man's dimension.

"Can you guys see the gateways?" Georgie asked. Me and Zuzy nodded. We went through a blue one. We were at Georgie's house. His nightmare sister stood in front of us.

"I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU!" Georgie shouted. Suddenly a wooden bat appeared in his hand, he hit his sister with it. She disappeared into purple smoke. We ran back through the gateway. Then we went through a pink gateway. We were at the carnival. Zizzy always used to take us there. An infected Zizzy stood in front of us. Her eyes, were blood red.

"WE'RE NOT AFRAID OF YOU!" Zuzy said, suddenly a fencing pole appeared in her hand, she stabbed Zizzy with it. She disappeared into purple smoke too. We ran back through the gateway, then we ran through another pink gateway. We, were now at the mall. Mine and Zee's infected parents stood in front of us. It was now my turn. I looked at them angrily, I thought of the rusty pole, I had used in the sewers to whack an infected alligator, and it appeared in my hand. I whacked my parents with it, they also disappeared into purple smoke.

I appeared in the purple man's dimension again.

"JUST DIE ALREADY!" He, screamed.

"NEVER!" I screamed back, I ran to him and I punched him in the mouth. The thing he used to talk. The thing I... Couldn't use to talk.

I was back in the Military base, again.

"Are you ok, Zee?" Georgie asked.

"Yes..." I whispered. I put my hands over my mouth, I had just spoken, IN THE REAL WORLD!

(Georgie)

Zee, my girlfriend had just... SPOKEN! HOW?!

"Zee, did you just..." I, said.

"My curse, it's gone." Zee, whispered.

"Your, what?" Me and Zuzy asked.

"I'll explain later, I think I can only whisper for now." Zee, whispered. The gateways around us disappeared. Mimi walked to us.

"Let's get out of here!" She shouted.

We nodded in reply, she grabbed Zuzies hand, Zuzy grabbed Zee's hand, and Zee grabbed my hand. William ran up to us.

"I couldn't hold them back, they're coming." William said, out of breath. He grabbed my hand. Infected started chasing us. We ran as fast as we could. Rocks fell from the ceiling, blocking the exit.

"UPSTAIRS!" William shouted, he pulled us upstairs, into a training room. He locked the door behind him. A Military cheetah, was trapped under a weight, a Military eagle, was hanging onto a ledge by one hand, for some reason it didn't have wings, and a Military goat was trapped in a cage. I grabbed the eagle's right hand, and Zee grabbed the eagle's left. The goat and the cheetah passed out. William opened a window.

"Are we just going to leave them?" The eagle asked.

"They're just kids, and I have to look after them." Mimi replied.

"Well I'm helping." I said.

"Me too." Zuzy said.

Zee just nodded in reply, it seemed like she didn't want to reveal she could talk to anyone else except from me and Zuzyjust yet.

"Looks, like we're outvoted." William said.
