I woke up in rusty chains, Mimi was, sat, next to me, her eyes, unfocused staring into space, she, was, without her technological glass monicle.

"GRRR! GET ME OUT OF THESE CHAINS!" I, shouted. That startled, Mimi. She walked to me, then tried to get me out of my chains. She, had, no, luck. She fell backwards onto her butt. She sighed

"Well, while, we're here, should we get to know eachother?" Mimi asked. She put her, back up against a, wall, and hugged her legs to to her chest.

"What's there to know?" I asked.

"Well, like, what happened to us on, the day of the infection outbreak, if you think about it, we hardly know eachother, we're just a bunch of strangers surviving together." She replied.

"That's not true, I've been through more, with you and the others, than I have with my entire family, besides, I don't want to hear an adult story, it's probably gross."

"Not, that gross, Zuzy!" She protested.

"Not that gross?" I, asked. "What, do you mean, by THAT, gross?"

"You'll find out, if you listen." She, said, teasingly.

"Grrr, why?" I said.

"It's up to you, Zuzy, besides I'm sure, your stories, not that childish."

"It's not childish, at all!" I, protested.

"Guess, I'll find, out if you tell me."

"Fine, who, should go first?" I asked, defeated, because curiosity had taken over both of us.

"Children first." She replied.

"I'm not a child! I'm a teen, thirTEEN!" I said.

"Ok, TEENS, first."

I, sighed, and I spoke, while also taking a trip down memory lane...

The day, of the infection...

Me, Zee, and... Zizzy... My sisters... One, my twin, were, sat, in, our parents' cabin, at, the dinner table. We, were waiting for some, lovely salad, that our mom, was, making. Zizzy, took off, her feathered cow girl hat, and she threw it onto a, desk behind her.

"SALAD, SALAD, SALAD!" I chanted, while, banging the ends, of the handles of my knife, and fork against the, table.

Zee, looked at me, like, I'd gone insane. Zizzy just chuckled. Then, they came. Infected pigs, with, bright baby, blue eyes, ice covering their bodies. They busted in from the two doors, on the right of us.

"AGH!" We, screamed. We jumped off our chairs, and backed up against the wall. The pigs closed in.

"WHAT, ARE THESE THINGS!?" I asked.

"I DON'T, KNOW ZUZY, BUT I DON'T THINK THEY'RE FRIENDLY!" Zizzy replied. They were, now so close they could touch us. I closed my eyes accepting my fate. Then, our mom jumped onto the pig, in front of, me, and whacked it in the face, with a pan. Then our dad, shot, the infected pigs, in front of Zee and Zizzy, with a shot gun. An, infected elephant covered in ice, snuck up behind him. Our mom, noticed it, and she threw the pan, at its face, it hit it, and it fell to the ground.

"CHILDREN! WE'VE SEEN THIS, ON THE NEWS, ONE, WEEK BEFORE! WE DIDN'T THINK, IT WAS REAL, ZIZZY! IF, ANYONE IS, SCRATCHED, BY ONE OF, THEM, THEY, WILL TURN INTO ONE OF THEM! KEEP YOUR SISTERS, SAFE! STICK TOGETHER! GO, TO THE CITY, WE'LL HOLD, THEM OFF! FIND HELP FOR YOU, DON'T THINK ABOUT US! " Our mom shouted.

" WE CAN'T LEAVE YOU! " Zizzy shouted tears, running down her face. One of the infected, scratched our mom, on the cheek.

" YOU, DON'T HAVE, A CHOICE, NOW HONEY, REMEMBER YOU ARE A, WARRIOR! " Our mom kicked, the infected in the gut. Our dad, shot two bullets, into the glass of the exit doors. The glass shattered.

"GO!" He, shouted, as an infected scratched him on his right arm. I started to cry. Zizzy threw, Zee onto her back, and she picked, me up and carried me like a baby. Then she jumped out of one of the exit, doors, took, one look back, then she ran, with us into, a, snowy woods, that, lead to Lucella City

***

We, emerged, into Lucella, City, people, or animals, were running around screaming. Cars, were tipped over and on fire. More infected were scratching people. I saw, a hamster throw a trash can lid, at, an, infected. Zizzy, put me and my twin down. She looked around, her eyes, were puffy red, from crying.

"THERE!" She pointed at, a gym. I, saw, Zizzies, silver fencing, pole, strapped, to a metal capsule, attached onto the, wall. "I NEED THAT, WHEN I SAY GO, GO!" Most of the infected were busy, scratching people, or kicking over fire hydrants. "GO!" We ran, as fast as we could. Zizzy, kicked, an infected mole, in the face as, we jumped into the gym, she ripped her fencing pole from the capsule, and she found, mine and Zee's and passed them to us. Zee stabbed an infected with her pole. We ran back out of the gym. Zizzy pointed to a, hotel, guarded by a, large wooden fence.

"THERE!" She, shouted, we ran to it. Zizzy kicked at, the gate, no luck. I saw a big red button on the gate, and a silver speaker, was above it.

"HERE!" I shouted. Zizzy pushed the button...

"Then, that's where, me, and Giraffy, opened, the, gate, and we took you in." Mimi, finished.

"Yep." I, confirmed. "Your, story?" I asked, just, like in my story, I had been crying in, the present. Mimi came over, and hugged my tight, which did not help me considering the chains.

"It, doesn't matter, anymore, are you ok?" She, asked, then let go.

"I, want, Zizzy, and my parents, and Zee..." I replied.

"Well, Zizzy, is, a, warrior, like you said, I bet, she, survived the scratch."

"How? That's impossible."

"As, far, as, we know, it could be possible, it's not like we've tried it, and it's failed before."

"I guess, your right... Should we try shouting Kona?" I asked.

"KONA! KONA! CAN YOU HEAR US!? " Mimi shouted.

"MIMI, THANK GOODNESS IS ZEE WITH YOU!?" Kona's voice replied.

"YEP, BUT SHE'S TIED, IN CHAINS!" Mimi said.

"I'LL FIX, THIS!" Kona, shouted back. Then, Kona, started, beeping, and groaning like a crazy person. Suddenly something broke, through a hole it had just made in a wall. Robby lifted, his head, and looked at us.

"ROBBY! HOW!?" I exclaimed.

"NO, TIME TO EXPLAIN!" Kona, shouted. A bright, baby blue, energy, blast erupted from, Robbies right hand, it, destroyed the cell bars. Robby then, ripped the chains, off, me. Then, he, freed his owner, Kona.

"Let's get out of here then!" He, said
