Before you apply, I am currently CLOSED FOR CATCH UP. Return in a couple months and see how things are rolling. Thanks!

Hi, I'm Cy (DrizzleTheWolf)! I'm a young writer and passionate reader. Even though I'm relatively new to writing myself, I feel like I've learned a lot from my nearly 4 years here on Wattpad and the experiences I've had. Hopefully I can share some of my knowledge and help you find what it takes to turn your work into something people will enjoy even more!

There are two types of reviews I offer:

Lunar Eclipse Review

This type of review focuses more on the technical aspects of your story, as well as the first few chapters and their effectiveness as a hook. This is not a deep dive into the plot and characters, but I will thoroughly examine everything presented in the chapters I review:

First Impressions - I will spend a little time explaining your cover, whether or not it's appealing, if it inspires me to read your book, and anything I think can be done better. The blurb is yet another important aspect of any book. Without a short, sweet, and captivating preview of the content within your story, you won't have interested readers.

Grammar - Mixed into the rest of the review, there will be constant notes about grammar. Whether it's dialogue, sentence structure, or a few typos here and there, I'll be sure to share a few tips. Or a lot. If you need them.

Chapter by Chapter - Sort of self-explanatory, I will read each chapter, and give my thoughts on them individually. This may be more or less in-depth depending on how much work your story needs. If there are obvious flaws to your plot, pacing, characters, etc, I'll let you know. If I struggle to find a lot to say, it means you don't need my advice, or could benefit more from the higher level review.

Overall Thoughts - The final part of the review will focus on the entirety of what I've read and how it works together, or how it needs improvement. Depending on how many chapters I read, I may or may not be able to gauge much, but I'll try and give you my honest opinion of your story.

Number of Chapters - This depends entirely on me. I will read a basis of 3 story parts for my review, starting at the beginning, and up to 6 if I enjoy it and want to read more.

Payment - First off, for convenience purposes, I require that you follow me for the duration of our interaction. I would love a permanent, and usually follow back if I enjoyed working with you, but it isn't required. Second, please read 3 chapters of my novel, A Drizzle of Home, and leave 8+ helpful/reactionary comments on each chapter so I know you completed it.

Full Moon Review

This features pretty much everything the previous review does but for your entire book. Just a forewarning, the amount of these I accept is very limited, but if the help you need is centered on your plot and overarching development, rather than technical issues, this may be the review for you. What it offers:

First Impressions - I will spend a little time explaining your cover, whether or not it's appealing, if it inspires me to read your book, and anything I think can be done better. The blurb is yet another important aspect of any book. Without a short, sweet, and captivating preview of the content within your story, you won't have interested readers. This also includes the beginning of your story, and my initial thoughts and reactions.

Grammar - Mixed into the rest of the review, there will be a few notes about grammar. Whether it's dialogue, sentence structure, or a few typos here and there, I'll be sure to share a few tips, but this will not be a main focus for this type of review.
