Narrator POV:
Xiao had just entered the area where the group was. immediately they noticed he was injured. the traveler seemed to pester him more though telling him to rest.
Despite his stubbornness xiao sat down and soon fell asleep not realizing the exhaustion he had endured.
after awhile aether finished checking on the group and seemed pretty tired himself. Looking over to the adeptus he noticed he appeared to be cold with slight shakes every now and then along with some goosebumps.
The blond walked over and sat next down to the boy who was propped up against the wall with his right knee closer to his chest. his right arm resting on said knee as his left knee lay flat to the ground.
Aether scooted as close as possible with disrupting the other males slumber. soon he wrapped his left arm around the adeptus' waist slowly moving up to rest his head against Aethers shoulder. at that moment he noticed the adeptus slowly inch closer try to absorb his warmth.
not too long after that xiao was curled up into a ball pushing himself against aether. the traveler simply just wrapped his arms around his waist resting his head on the fluffy hair of the shorter man.
soon the two fell asleep in each others embrace blocking out all that was happening and the surrounding company. All that mattered was the two of them and their slumber.
