Always and Forever {Anthony Hope x OC}

Arriving in London

~11 years later~

*Anthony's POV*

As we set sail from Australia back to my home city of London, I try my best to talk to one of the passengers. He informed me that his name was Sweeney Todd. He then told me that he was imprisoned 15 years ago for a crime he vowed he didn't commit. I found it quite odd. "How can someone be imprisoned for a crime they didn't commit?" I eventually brought up enough courage to ask him. He then explained to me that he was out one day with his wife Lucy and their daughter Johanna, when he was suddenly hit in the back with a police baton and was dragged away leaving his wife standing there alone as Johanna started to cry. He then found himself in a court with a judge convicting him of the murder of his wife and child{idc if that not the actually crime he was accused of. It's Judge Turpin, he could of accused him of anything}. Mr Todd pleaded that he would never commit such a crime as he loved his wife and daughter dearly. But the Judge didn't believe and vowed him a lifetime imprisonment in Australia. "Oh, I am so sorry to hear that" I said, somewhat sympathizing with the man who started to cry next me. I could tell how much it hurt him being away from his family for that long. For all he knew they could both be dead or Lucy remarried and had another child. "At least you get to see them again" I said trying to get him to stop crying. He then stood up and walked up to the bow of the boat " i hope so" he whispered looking over to where London was becoming visible over the horizon. 

As we got closer I started singing a song about how much I loved London.

I have sailed the world

Beheld its wonders 

From the Dardanelles to the mountains of Peru

But there's no place like London

No, there's no place like London

"Mr. Todd?" I asked as I looked over to Mr. Todd who was stood next to me singing along to my song. He continues on without looking at me.

You are young

Life has been kind to you

He pauses for a second as I just stood there still looking at him.

You will learn.

He then paused for the second and walked closer the bow of the boat as we edged closer to the port of London. I follow him as he slowly walked, staying  a good foot or so behind him as he continues to sing.

There's a whole in the world like a great black pit

And the vermin of the world inhabit it

And its morals aren't worth what a pig can spit

And it goes by the name of London 

At the top of the hole sit the privileged few

Making mock of the vermin in the lonely zoo

Turning beauty into filth and greed, I too have sailed world and seen its wonders

For the cruelty of men is as wondrous as Peru 

But there's no place like London

We then reach the port of London. As the crew tie up the boat me and Mr. Todd get off the boat. Mr. Todd walks slightly ahead of me as I look around and then look at Mr. Todd

"Everything alright Mr. Todd?" I ask him confused as he stands about a foot in-front of me.

"I beg your indulgence Anthony" He says without even turning around.

"My mind is far from easy" 

He looks around for a moment before saying "In these once-familiar streets I feel{youuuuuu Johannaaaaaaaa(Reader~ i know you love Jamie but please get on with story)sorry, you never let me have fun} shadows..."

I become even more confused "Shadows?" i ask

"Ghosts" He says still never turning to face me.

"Ghosts?"

"Ghosts that haunt these very streets"

"Come now Anthony I have somewhere I need to find" He says walking off. I stand there for a moment confused about what just happened I then start walking after him as he quickens his pace down the streets of London.

A/N: Hello Jamie simps. Hope you enjoyed this part and lets hope the video at the time actually works. Jamie's voice tho *chefs kiss* i mean that man can sing like he can sing.
