The Apocalypse

Y/N's POV

I went though the portal with Chloe and she looked confused at first but then saw me.

Chloe: where the fuck are we?!
Y/N: we are from the looks of it in a zombie apocalypse.
Chloe: well no shit guineas I meant what state?
Y/N: no clue.

After saying that we heard the snap of a twig making us look in the direction of the sound and we saw a zombie I chuckled and walked up to it with my knife and stabbed it in the head killing it then I looked at Chloe.

Y/N: we should get moving to a town we still need food and water.
Chloe: following you I guess.

We started walking on a road hoping to find a town soon.

Chloe: so what are we supposed to do?
Y/N: we are supposed to save another version of you and her daughter.
Chloe: wait my other self has a daughter?
Y/N: yep and she loves her daughter alot.

We started to see a town infront of us so we started jogging towards it I threw Chloe a bandana and put one on myself then we both threw are hoods up. When we got to the town we heard gunshots so we followed them and found 5 people falling back into a general store as they were getting shot at by another group.

Chloe: dam looks like even in the apocalypse there is still war.
Y/N: yep and that squad of 5 has Chloe in it.
Chloe: for fucks sake I guess no matter where I go I'm causing problems.
Y/N: *chuckles* seems so. Let's kill those soldiers.
Chloe: how?!
Y/N: with your powers and a knife.
Chloe: ok sure great.

With that i blinked closer to the group of soldiers shooting at Chloe's squad I silently got behind the one furthest away from the group and slit his throat and grabbed his gun and started to shoot at the hostile group taking cover as they started shooting at me as well.

Chloe's POV

I saw Y/N get pinned down so I started thinking of a way to save him and that's when I found out how to use my powers. Holding up my hand I slowed time down and ran up to one of the soldiers stabbing him in the eye taking his rifle. I then took cover and I unslowed time. I saw the soldier I kill fall to the ground making the rest of the soldiers scared some started to run only leaving 3 to fight us so I popped up and shot 2 of them before getting hit in the shoulder.

Y/N's POV

I saw Chloe get hit in the shoulder so I stood up and shot the last guy in the face then ran over to see if Chloe was ok.

Y/N: you ok?
Chloe: yeah shot grazed me.
Y/N: ok now we go by codenames I'm Ren on the field.
Chloe: bit late to say something but I'll go by Exo.
Y/N: Wilco we need to get to your other self.
Chloe: ok then let's go.

I helped Chloe up and we dropped the guns we stole and started walking towards the general store where we found Chloe and her squad patching each other up when on of them noticed me and Chloe.

???: *Aims rifle* who are you?!
Y/N: we are friends we took care of your raider problem.
Chloe: we could have handled it.
Exo: well we did for you.
Chloe: we'll meet Frost,Romeo, Charlie and Echo.
Echo: ello.
Frost: howdy.
Romeo: hi.
Charlie: aye.
Y/N: I'm Ren and this is Exo.
Exo: Hello.
Y/N: you guys need a hand?
Chloe: what's your price?
Exo: nothing.
Y/N: we got plenty at are home.
Chloe: ok but stay close we are taking out a HVT in the next town over.
Y/N: then let's go.

After saying that Frost took point and we all started walking towards the next town in search of the HVT.
