Y/N's POV

After we returned to the void we saw the last two members to join the time wraiths. We watched as the both started waking up.

Chloe: Aw good your both awake.
Y/N: good to see they are.
Sophie: who the fuck are you?!
Y/N: that over there is Exo I'm Ren
Julie: I can see through your lies.
Y/N: we aren't lying those are our code names.
Exo: you will learn are real names soon enough now you should meet the outsider.

As if on que he appeared right next to us.

Outsider: hello Julie and Sophie I am the outsider.
Julie: what do you want with us.
Outsider: me I want to restore balance to the multiverse. He said with a smirk
Y/N: what do you want us to do now.
Outsider: I want you to die!

After saying that he summoned a sword into his hands and swung at me and Chloe. I reacted by Blinking away from the blade and Chloe slowed down time and doged underneath it. I grabbed my folding sword and got into a fighting position. Chloe grabbed her combat knife and held it in a reverse grip. As for Julie and Sophie they grabbed their knifes and got into a defensive stance.

Outsider: you have no idea what it's like to have power over people. Its a wonderful feeling to have. I want all of your souls so I can have more power.

He said while swinging at me and Chloe.

Y/N: you hunted us down so you could steal are abilities?!

I said while blocking one of his swings where I was able to land a kick sending him back.

Outsider: yes I did and it was easy to make you join all I had to guarantee was that you would see your girlfriend again. Then all you had to do was change one timeline so Julie doesn't kill herself so I could have her powers too.
Julie: I'll fucking kill you.

As he said that she charged the outsider trying to land a hit on him only to get kicked away into Sophie.

Outsider: your all pathetic.

He said swinging at Julie and Sophie only for his attack to get blocked by Chloe.

Chloe: fuck you asshole.

Chloe took this chance and stabbed at the outsiders gut and landed a hit stabbing him in the gut making him yell in pain.

Outsider: ahhh you bitch. He said kicking Chloe back
Y/N: you'll pay for what you have done.

I said as I charge him I raised my sword to my shoulder with the blade aimed at his gut and I managed to stab him in the gut making him scream in pain I didn't stop their I started pushing the blade up towards his chest. That's when Chloe stabbed him in the leg, Julie stabbed him in the lung and Sophie finished him off by stabbing him in the throat. We all heard him choking on his blood and pulled are weapons out of him and watched him fall to his knees.

Y/N: no one should ever have power if they are seeking it. Karma has caught up with you.

After saying that the outsider started dissipating in this black dust floating off.

Y/N: we beat him.
Chloe: yeah but wasn't he the one holding the multiverse together?
Julie: I don't know me and Sophie just got here.
Sophie: yeah.
Y/N: yeah he did.
Chloe: so who will do that now.
Y/N: I will.
Julie: what why?
Y/N: I got nothing to go back too in my world I'm dead so I have nothing to go back too so I'll watch over the multiverse and make sure it doesn't collapse.
Chloe: are you sure because any of us could do it.
Y/N: yes I'm sure besides you all have lives to get back too.

With that I opened a portal for Chloe so she could head back to her girlfriend. Next two portals I opened were for Julie and Sophie to go back to their respective rooms and after I watched them all go through I closed the portals now knowing that I'll have to work from the shadows to make sure things play out the way they should.
