Weeks passed, and as season changes to be deep into Summer, Carson's feelings grew deeper for his friend. As for Eddie, his feelings stayed the same, being rather friendly and stoic towards Carson. As the second band camp ended, Eddie and Carson scheduled to hang out at the local ice cream place.

When Eddie arrived at the creamery, he sat down at one of the tables placed outside. As he waited, he thought about what ice cream flavor to get. Being so indecisive, it was difficult for Eddie to decide on even the simplest decisions. As he was looking at the online menu and contemplating what to get, Eddie heard a car beep. He looked up to see Carson coming out of his mom's car.

"Hey, Eddie, nice to see you!" said Carson, cheerfully.

"Good to see you too, Carson." replied Eddie.

"Have you figured out what you want yet?"

"No, I'm not very good at making decisions, even if it's about ice cream." Eddie chuckled.

"That's fine, you can just get what I always get. I'm a pretty good ice cream picker if I do say so myself." inquired Carson.

As the two walked into the ice cream place, Eddie scanned the menu on his phone once more. "You know what, I don't think I'll have anything." he said.

When picking ice cream, Carson picked put the sundae with chocolate drizzle on top. It had been his favorite ice cream since he was young.

As they went back to the table they were sitting at, Eddie looked at the ice cream in awe. Noticing the glares his tasty treat was getting, Carson offered Eddie a bite. When Eddie agreed, Carson held the sundae in front of both of them and they both decided to taste it at the same time. Eddie could feel Carson's breath as he took a bite of the sundae, along with Carson feeling the same way.

"Did we just indirectly kiss?" asked Eddie, nonchalantly.

"I guess so. Speaking of kissing, there's been something I've been wanting to get off my chest recently."
