Your POV:

I open my eyes and hop out of my bunk. The clock reads 8:18am. Only one of the bunks is empty.

I wander into the living room where Ray is sitting and playing his guitar. I don't think he noticed me yet, he seems pretty focused.

"That sounds really good." I say, leaning on the door frame.

His head snaps up and he responds with, "Oh thanks Y/n. How was your sleep?" His porcelain skin was now more of a rosy shade.

"Pretty good" I yawn as I sit next to him.

"That's good. We'll be in Pittsburgh in about ten minutes so do you want to go get breakfast?" Ray asks, putting his guitar in its case.

"I'd love to." I answer with a smile.

I stand up and walk over to my suitcase, trying to find an outfit. Finally, I decided on one that I like. The outfit is some black jeans and an old graphic t-shirt. I brush my hair and then pull on my shoes.

My feet carry me back into the living room where Ray is waiting.

"Ready to go?" He asks as he stands up and zips up his Revenge hoodie.

"Yep!"

He hold the door for me and I walk out of the bus with Ray following shortly behind me.

We leave the parking lot and then I look over at Ray. "Do you know where we're going?" I ask him.

"Yeah: There's a cafe on the corner and apparently it's got the best coffee. I know how much you and Gee love your coffee" He responds with a smile.

"Cool." I say, returning the smile.

About ten minutes later Ray and I arrive at said coffee shop. I walk in and hold the door for him.

The cafe has a very calm atmosphere and is nicely decorated.

We walk up to the register and we're greeted by a ginger girl with bright green eyes. Her name tag reads "Hailey"

"What can I get started for you two?" She asks cheerily.

"You can order first." Ray says to me. I think for a moment and then I decide on a cappuccino.

"May I please get a cappuccino?" I asked the barista . She nods and smiles before punching in something to her register.

"Make that two please." Ray says before pulling out his wallet.

"It's okay, I got it" I say, putting his hand down.

"No, Y/n. It's my treat" he replies warmly as he swats my hand away.

"That'll be seven dollars and fifty cents" the girl says. Ray hands her a ten dollar bill and tells her she can keep the change.

"If you want to go sit somewhere, I can wait for the drinks" He states, looking down at me with his warm brown eyes. I respond with an "Okay" and sit at a table by the window.

Ray walks over to me with two mugs on a tray. He sets one cappuccino front of me and the other in front of the empty seat. Each one has a leaf design in the foam.

"Thanks Ray" I say as he sits down

"Thanks Ray" I say as he sits down.

"Anytime."

We drink our cappuccinos as the morning pace picks up. The streets are filled with people going to and from the places they need to be.

The quaint coffee shops remains quiet despite all the noise outside.

Ray and I talk about anything and everything as we finish our drinks. After the mugs are emptied, we grab some coffees for the rest of the band and head back to the bus.

Mikey and Frank are already awake, doing their own thing.

"Where'd you two go?" Mikey asks, looking up from his book.

"Just went out to a cafe on the corner" I responded as I handed them each one of the coffee cups.

"Sounds like a date" Frank says while a smirk forms on his face.

Ray turns rosy again.

"It wasn't a date." he laughs nervously

"Sure it wasn't." Frank chirped

Suddenly a tired Gerard walks into the room and grabs a coffee.

"It's about time you're awake" Frank laughs at Gee's unamused expression.

"I'm only awake because I smelled coffee." Gee says, sitting next to his boyfriend.

"Well drink it fast, we have some interviews to get to" Ray tells the three of them before walking out of the room.
