"This short?" Blue said as she grabbed a part of Yellow's long ponytail with one hand, and scissors in the other.
"Yup!" Yellow said with a grin. She was getting used to having her hair looking short with her sun hat on, and Yellow has always found it annoying with having to stuff her ponytail into her hat. Now everything's going to change, and Yellow was so excited!
"You sure? That's pretty short, even for you..." Blue said.
"Blue, aren't you supposed to be playing the supportive girlfriend role?" Yellow said as she impatiently tapped her feet against the legs of the chair she was sitting in.
"Yeah, sorry, Yellow. For some reason I keep imagining your hair as my hair and I-"
"I know, you like your long hair..." Yellow said with a smile and a eyeroll. "Can you cut it, please?"
"Alright..." Blue said as she carefully cut off Yellow's beautiful yellow locks. She felt Yellow's fluffy hair fall to her feet, and she looked down. "Wow, that's a lot of hair I cut off..." Blue said.
Yellow looked behind her. "Oh, wow! Thank you, Blue!" Yellow said with a grin. Blue was the only person she knew who could actually cut her hair. Green made an excuse that he was busy training his Pokemon. And Red is just Red. He can't even be trusted with scissors.
"Let me just polish it up in the back." Blue said as she trimmed the ends of Yellow's hair. "Aaand done!" Blue said with a grin.
Yellow hopped out of her chair and looked in the mirror. Her eyes widened at her new look, and she looked up at Blue, beaming. "Thank you so much, Blue!!" Yellow said happily, wrapping her arms around her partner.
Blue grinned. "It's no problem!"
Yellow grinned back, and she did a small twirl. "Does it look nice?"
"It looks beautiful!" Blue replied before giving Yellow a kiss on the forehead.
Yellow then frowned, as if she was thinking. "But how can I repay you for the favor?" She said, looking back up at Blue.
"How about we go shopping together!" Blue said. Now she was the one beaming. "I can get you a lot of pretty clothes that can go well with your new hairstyle!"
"Alright!" Yellow said.
"Come on, let's go!" Blue said as she grabbed Yellow's hand.
"W-Wait, we're going shopping now??" Yellow said.
"Yep! Don't worry, though. You can take a nap after we get back from shopping!" Blue said before the two exited their house, ready to go shopping.
