     Sapphire sat on the couch, restlessly tapping her foot on the carpeted floor of the cabin her family and Ruby's family was renting. Sapphire sighed. 

     Why's he taking so long?! Sapphire thought, crossing her arms. Ruby told her he had a surprise for her, and he asked for her to wait in the living room for him as he gathered the surprise.

     But soon enough, Ruby walked down the hallway and walked gracefully into the living room, holding up two puffy winter jackets. 

     "Ta-da!!" Ruby said as he did a spin and posed, holding out the two jackets so Sapphire could get a good look at his creation.

     One was red, and the other jacket was blue. They were very cozy-looking with comfy warm fabric on the inside. But there was only one problem:

     "Why's there so much glitter?!" Sapphire shouted.

     Ruby grinned. "Oh, Sapphire, you don't understand the true beauty that fashion is! We could surely win the holiday contests when wearing these!"

     Sapphire frowned. "We have snow pants too, right?" She asked.

     "I almost forgot!" Ruby said, racing back down the hall. Seconds later, he came back, holding two pairs of snow pants slaughtered in glitter. You couldn't even tell what color the pants actually are because of all the glitter covering them. "Aren't they stunning??"

     Sapphire moved her arm in front of her eyes. "It's so bright! I will not wear that!" She said.

     "Suit yourself." Ruby said, placing Sapphire's coat and pants on the couch. "I guess you will have to go out in the cold with no coat or jacket! Have fun freezing out there!" Ruby said, crossing his arms.

     "'Kay! See ya, Ruby!" Sapphire said, dashing out of the front door of the log cabin and running into the cold weather.

     "WAIT, I WAS JOKING!!" Ruby shouted, quickly putting his snow jacket and pants over his clothes and running outside after Sapphire. "SAPPHIRE!! YOU'LL CATCH A COLD!"

     Sapphire looked back and stuck her tongue out at Ruby before leaning down to grab some snow. She packed it into a ball, and she grinned evilly as she brought her arm back to throw it straight at Ruby.

     Ruby's eyes widened. He did not want his beautiful jacket to get damaged. "Don't you dare throw that snowba-" Ruby got hit right in the chest from the snowball. The snow crumbled all over his jacket, and Ruby brushed it off, resulting the snow to melt, causing some glitter to fall off, too. It made blank, glitter-free patches on his jacket.

     "Ya ready for some more, prissy boy?!" Sapphire shouted as she packed together snow into another snow ball. She closed one eye to aim. This time at Ruby's left leg. Then she fired.

     "Not today!!" Ruby shouted back while he sprinted back inside the cabin. He quickly shut the door right before the snowball would have hit. Instead, it hit the door, resulting in a thump.

     Sapphire crossed her arms and grunted as she stood alone in the snow. "SISSY!!" She shouted. Of course Ruby would have ran inside...

     Ruby grew irritated from the new nickname, and he -dramatically- slammed the door open, and he walked back out with a grin. "Be prepared for the wrath of the beautiful, amazing, graceful, ME!!" Ruby shouted as he grabbed a snowball and chucked it at Sapphire, hitting her shoulder.

     Sapphire grinned. "Game on, prissy boy!" She said as she threw two snowballs at Ruby. One snowball went faster than the other and it hit Ruby's chest, while the other one was going directly for his head.

     "No no no no!" Ruby shouted, running back. "Not my hat!" He slammed the door shut just in time before the snowball would hit his hat, making it fall off. It wasn't because of Ruby's scar, though. It was because Ruby just made that new hat for himself.

     "COME, ON!!" Sapphire shouted.

     Ruby just laughed to himself as he adjusted his hat and ran back outside. This time he won't run back inside, and he will -possibly- win the snowball fight fair and square.
