❣Cosplay: Momoi Satsuki❣

Hi everyone, I'm SquaryQ, a back-up for the Cosplay Ideas section this month!

I want to remind you before we begin that no matter how tall you are, how much you weigh, your race, gender age or skill level, you can cosplay whoever you want and look AMAZING doing it! Because we all love fiction and the fictional character- and more importantly, we're all going to be nerds in costumes!~

And also, before we begin, I would like to tell you that I'm not a very good cosplayer, but I have constructed a casual cosplay outfit for Momoi Satsuki in the Winter Cup in season two. This outfit is fairly simplistic and is therefore relatively accessible to fans who want to start with casual cosplay that do not require alterations.

I began the construction of the Momoi cosplay by acquiring a skirt, which is too short to wear to school, but still fits my waist. Once the skirt is on I put on a plain black jumper. But you can use any article of plain black clothing.

The next thing is a bit more specific and that is her iconic mint-green hoodie. I was lucky that my sister did own one, so I just wore that. I have seen them in clothing stores such as Primark for less than ten pounds so they are not a huge inconvenience to one's pocket. I've found that the most expensive thing to buy for a Momoi cosplay would be a wig, but if you are lucky enough to have long hair you could simply buy some color spray and make your hair pink at home. (This is not the best idea if you have school the next day; most schools would not appreciate pink hair.)

Once you have that, all you need to consider is footwear, Momoi usually wears trainers. Hers are pink and white, but nobody will judge you if you're wearing a different kind of trainer. Maybe Aomine gifted her with his basketball shoes, or Kuroko, or Kise, or whoever. Let the observers assume. Let them come up with reasons in their heads. It's no big deal.

Now, there are aspects to characters that you can dwell on to make you seem more like them. Momoi is sometimes seen with a clipboard and a ball point pen. And her trivia is interesting! Momoi favors cherries, if you want to give your cosplay some depth, maybe you could carry around cherries; gummy cherries, normal cherries. She dislikes frogs too! This makes her a character with a lot of potential for funny cosplay pictures.

I'm ranting too much! *facepalm*

Sorry! I can't seem to think of much to say without ranting and ranting about Momoi and her characteristics.

So I guess this where I leave off!
