Chapter- 28

Vegas slowly parted his eyelashes. He struggled a bit due to the bright sunlight that came from the window. He can see silhouette of man. He opened his eyes fully to see the person, it was the same person who came into his like a sunshine, now standing in the sunlight.

He turned towards Vegas and gave a smile which was like energy drink to everyone who sees it. Vegas too drank it and gained strength to wake up further.

Though Vegas was happy about Pete, he want to conform about one thing before he reach the ecstasy. That this was not a dream. He took his phone which was on the table. And was suprised and happy to see date. It was two days after the time loop day.

So I was in coma for two days?

Yes. You are lucky that the hard disk you had in your shirt pocket blocked bullet from entering directly into your heart otherwise you would dead because of me, replied Pete with wet eyes.

Vegas knew that Pete is struggling with the guilty consciousness. He thinks that he is reason for Vegas's situation. But he had no idea how many times Vegas underwent the same situation again and again just for him.

Silence swallowed both of them. To break the silence Vegas asked do you want to know more about me?

Pete immediately nodded like a child answering to the question if they want an icecream.

I came to know some about you from my aunt like how you struggled to save her and me. But I want to know more about you. How do you know me? did we meet before? I don't know why but I feel like I actually know you more than i think I know you. I feel like we share an undefinable connection between us. Its like we have spent our previous life together. Pete chuckled while saying this.

So give me answers for all this Vegas.

I know you have lots of questions Pete. But listen to me first.

Vegas explained everything to Pete.

Author pov:

Pete started crying after listening to the entire story. It was the best  love story he ever heard or read and importantly it is his own love story. So he was overwhelmed.

He tightly hugged vegas, causing his wound in the chest to slightly open again. Vegas too embraced him smiling like an idiot in love.

After two weeks:

Vegas was still in hospital. He had several injuries other than the bullet wound. So doctor compelled him to stay for two weeks even though he urged that he will go home before it.

Korn was arrested for multiple charges like attempt murder and money laundering. Though he denied that he is not guilty as there was no evidence( because pen drive and hard disk were destroyed), Ken turned himself as a witness and proved his father's wrongdoings. Both were arrested and were in jail.

Pete's father Gun visited Vegas thrice in the hospital. He was in cloud nine and was ready to make Vegas as his son-in-law as soon as possible because he came to know he is the best option for Pete in every way. Vegas will assist Pete to manage the company in the future as he is a famous business strategist.

To all others Vegas and Pete cooked up a story that Vegas went to the same school as Pete and were in love for 7 years.

But they have to break up because Vegas had to move to America to take care of some business there. Now it is all solved and he returned to Thailand for good.
