Can we speak now khun?

Vegas asked Gun when he was having a knife pointed towards Pete's neck.

Everyone was shocked. Khun korn rushed towards Vegas and said,

Please khun don't hurt Pete. He is my son. I couldn't bear to lose him. You can tell me whatever your demand is khun. But please don't hurt him.

He said this and started tearing up. Vegas left Pete and explained everything to Korn.

Upon hearing that his son has a plan to kill Pete. He was fuming with anger. He grabbed the short gun from Gun and said,

If what this khun said is true, today will be the death day. Not of Pete but of Ken. I will kill him by my own hands.

He said this and started to move out of the house in search of his son. But Gun stopped saying that we shouldn't believe an outsider without any proof.

Vegas affirmed them that he will bring the proof but they have to cancel the engagement as for now. Gun thought for some time and said he will cancel it if he brings the proof before 7p.m.

Vegas was happy that he got a chance to save Pete. He said sorry to everyone for his behaviour and left the house. On his way out Pete followed Vegas.

Suddenly Vegas turned towards Pete and hugged him.

Sorry Pete that i had to place the knife to your neck to make them believe me.

Pete replied, Its alright. Don't worry. Don't blame yourself when I was the one who came up with this idea.

Yes Pete was the one who said Vegas to point a knife to his neck if things go out of control.

Vegas bid farewell to Pete and came out of the main entrance gate. He was thinking of a way to get the proof.

Only person who came to his mind was khun Wat, the police officer. So he took his phone from his pocket and started to dial him.

Suddenly a black van approached Vegas. It slowed down and door opened. Three thugs pulled Vegas inside the car and made him to inhale some substance which they applied to a cloth. Slowly Vegas closed his eyes while trying to free himself from them.

After some time, he regained his consciousness but he couldn't move. His hands and legs were tied to a chair. He was also not be able to see what was around as a black cloth was covering hus entire face.

He heard a voice. That man said,

Remove that cloth.

A man followed his order. He removed the cloth which was covering Vegas's face till now.

Vegas was blinking his eyes continuously to adjust his eyes to the surrounding. After he gained his eyesight, he was able to see the man sitting in opposite. It was Korn.

Vegas smirked and said,

I knew it was you. Maybe Pete is too innocent to know your true colour but I am not.

But I have to appreciate you. Both father and son are excellent actors to fool the entire family.😏😏

Korn replied,

Yes we are. But who are you interfering in our perfect plan? You may think that you can stop Pete's death by bringing the proof. But the sad truth is surely Pete is gonna die today.

And you will be the one to kill him.

While saying this he nodded his head to some subordinate. They left the room and came back dragging two people and laid them down in front of Vegas.

Vegas was taken aback.

It was Kinn and Porsche.

They were beaten to pulp and are unconscious.

If you want your friends to stay alive, you yourself have to shoot Pete. If not you are going to lose two lives for him. The choice is yours.
