I cannot just believe I shot my mouth off like that! And the best part, I don't even know him that well. I had just rattled off whatever Beam had told me about him previously.

I sat down at the bench infront of the mini mart for a bit, trying to catch my breath. Sometimes I cannot believe these Medical and Engineering guys too. So over zealous and protective of their boyfriends but come on, why would I hit on an attached dude?!

It's bad enugh the guy I liked, likes another guy. Why would I go around hitting on an attached dude?

"Do I even know you? How come you know me so well?"

I looked up, my train of thoughts interrupted by this voice, that was both soft and domineering, if that was even possible. I realized it was P Forth. Oh crap. I stood up, waiied to him and before I could do anything, Forth held onto my wrist. I looked at him curiously, wondering what he was trying to do.

"I don't want you running off on me again, that's why."

I stifled a laugh and looked up at him.

"I'm not going anywhere. You can let go now. And no, you don't know me. I don't know you either. Whatever information I said earlier was something that Beam had shared with me previously. And no, I don't like you. I only said that so those boys will stop bugging me."

"OH. Right. But is there someone you like?"

"Why do you care P Forth? That's none of your business. Now I'm gonna go. Thank you for helping me though."

I nodded to him and went off. The temptation to check on his face was high but I just continued walking off. I smirked, knowing he was probably pissed with the way I had blown him off.

As I made my way towards my dorm, I bumped into the very person, the last one I had hoped to bump into. The apple of my eye, the ying to my yang, the one I had transferred schools for and only to find out, he loves my best friend. And the best part, my best friend loves him too. There was no way I could come in between the both of them but it doesn't change the fact that my heart took a nose dive everytime I saw him.

But right now, my best friend was with him and they both had no idea of my feelings and i planned to keep it that way.

I smiled at Ming and Beam who came into my purview. I hugged Beam tightly and gave Ming a friendly fistbump. We exchanged pleasantries before they left. I watched them walk off, my eyes blurring involuntarily as I watched Ming disappear out of my purview.

Just then, I heard the same voice.

"You like Ming?"

I gasped and turned around, colliding into P Forth.
