I watched as his face switched from being shocked at seeing me to realising his eyes were full of tears and he quickly rubbed them off. Then it switched to anger or embarrassment? He tried to go off but I held onto his wrist tightly!

"Let me go P Forth! This has nothing to do with you."

"It wouldnt. If you hadn't used my name to get out of that situation with the boys earlier. You should have just told them the truth."

"Do you realize what you are saying? Can you imagine me telling the truth and these two find out?! What would Beam do?"

"At least you would have displayed the courage to fight for your love. Knowing Beam, despite being your friend, he would have still fought for his love. So why didn't you?"

I know how he felt. It wasn't in my intention to rub it in his face. But it's the truth. He should have at least tried fighting for his feelings. If he had really transferred over for Ming, shdnt he try a little harder?

"I know Beam would have fought for his love. But before that, he would have given up on it for me. And I don't want that. Beam is more than just a friend to me, he is family. You don't hurt family for love."

I watched silently as this time, Kit pulled his hand out of my grasp and walked away.

Then he stopped and turned to look at me, "You talk so much. Why didn't you fight for your love?"

"What are you saying? Do you know who is Ming to me? Not just a junior ok. He's like family. You don't.... shit...."

"Precisely. Good night P Forth. Sorry for using your name and I prefer if this remained between us."

With that, I watched him walk away. Realising that this guy was indeed a character and best part, I still didn't know his name!
