I was at the canteen the next day, completing some work whilst waiting for Beam. Pha had long left for his date with Lam. I chuckled whenever I thought of that pair. Never saw that coming. Beam and I were going to have lunch before going to support Ming at his futsal match.

Soon Beam came by and after lunch, we went off to the futsal match. Didn't realize that Ming was playing against the 3 years which meant, shit! Just then I saw the billboard flash with a message and I had looked up to see everyone looking at me. Puzzled, I looked at the bill board and realized what was going on.

"To Kit, let's make our happily ever after na. If i win this match, will you go on a date with me?"

I stared at the message and then looked at Beam who was busy chuckling away and pointed me towards the centre of the match where the players were getting ready to play. They were all lined up for the ceremonial pre match bow and I saw Forth standing tall and strong in the middle, smiling at me.

I just glared at this fellow and stood up, wanting to walk away when everyone booed at me to sit down. Damn. I looked at Forth who had a smirk on his face and soon I heard a chant floating fast and furiously through the football court.

"Agree. Date him if he wins! Date, Date, Date!"

I just looked down, furious at how this was panning out but I had faith maybe Ming's team would win the match. Plus to shut everyone up and actually get the match going, i looked up at Forth straight in his eyes from where I was seated and I nodded my head. Everyone cheered! What the fuck!?

I just grimaced and I felt Beam put his hands around me and laugh even harder. But the prospect of the date also meant everyone was very focused on the match. Against my better judgement, I followed the match intensely too. Forth was actually a really good player! However, Ming's team had some strong players and they kept the 3rd years on their feet. However, the match tied and it went into penalty shoot out. Both teams were evenly matched until it came for Forth's penalty. Unfortunately, he actually missed it!

I was stunned. I was very sure he had it. So how come he missed it? Everyone groaned but he just bowed and walked off the court. Just before he left though, he turned to me, throwing me a small smile.

That's when it hit me, Forth had missed the penalty on purpose. But why?
