First Year,
Birthday Regrets.

A couple of weeks had passed by, there wasn't any sign of Fred or George giving her the map back. She secretly still held out hope that they would, in the meantime she found herself in the kitchen baking a cake, for Laura's birthday.

If they wanted to find they could, all they would have to do is look at the map and they would find her. The house elves found it strange that she insisted on baking a cake, they could have easily done it for her. Rhea informed them, that they were not required to listen to students and she could do things for herself.

"Just needs something else," she looked through all the cupboards, finding a large tub of powdered sugar, she opened the lid, the powder completely covering her and the cake. "Whoops, my bad," she held her wand to her body

"Scourgify," cleaning the powder from her robes, she repeated the same spell cleaning up the floor.

When she was satisfied with her cake, she carried the cake carefully to the great hall, hurrying to the Hufflepuff table. As she passed Phoebe she notice that she had been watching her and Laura like a hawk all morning. "Something was wrong"

"Happy birthday, don't eat it all at once," she told her, Laura thank her for the cake, averting her eyes from others, she didn't need the whole school knowing it was her birthday.

As Rhea made her way to Gryffindor's table, she smiled at Ethan and Oliver as she sat down. No sign of Fred or George still. As though they could hear her they walked through the door, Fred had the map tucked into his robe. She smiled at them, as George sat on her left and Fred sat on her right.

"So, we've played around with it," George began,

"Did you know there are passageways out of the school?" Fred added

"I did, I just wasn't aware of which ones were safe to use,"

"Well we tried them," George said, holding some sweets from Honeyduke's in Hogsmeade.

"How did you-

"One of the passageways leads into the cellar," Fred told her taking some of her food. "You should come sometime,"

"You don't intend to keep the map for yourselves do you?" she questioned.

"Me? Why I'd never-

"Alright, Fred that's enough,"

"Aren't you at all curious as to how I figured it out,"

"Of course we are, but I doubt you'll tell us,"

"You're right, you know me better than I thought, Freddie,"

"Don't call me, Freddie,"

"Why, Freddie," she smiled at her, he sighed turning away from her, "Georgie doesn't mind,"

"We have the prank ready if you want to join your majesty," Fred said,

"Ooh, your majesty, I like that," she held her hand out for him to help her up, he rolled his eyes at her, George took her hand she chuckled, wrapping her arm around his waist as they left, George wrapping his arm over her shoulder.

Fred knew that George valued her friendship, she was like them in many ways. He put up appearances for George, though his brother didn't believe him, he thought he had actually come to like her. As they hurried through the halls, they had their eyes locked on their target.

"Sit back and watch-

"I don't think so, I'm getting in on it," she interrupted George, he smirked at her.

"Alright here," Fred gave her the map back, she whisper the password, as the halls were crowded today, revealing the map, her eyes widened she could barely see the names on the map.

Crowded halls made it difficult to read who was coming, Fred and George sat with her as all they had to do was wait for Flint to walk by. Upon spotting him, Fred held his wand against the trigger, waiting for just the right moment, Rhea glanced down at the map, spotting two other Slytherins and a Hufflepuff behind him.

"Wait-" she said, but Fred had already released the trigger, covering four students in thick black almost tar-like paint. Rhea hurried to her cousin's side, kneeling down to help her up, Phoebe appeared from around the corner.

"I didn't see you-

"You spoil everything, you and your stupid pranks!" Laura tried to rub the paint off her robes and hair.

"That's a bit extreme, just for the record I wasn't trying-

"I don't care what you were trying to do, Rhea, for once to stop trying to be like your dad," Laura stood up, shaking the paint from her robes as she stormed past everyone.

"Are you okay?" Phoebe approached her

"You could have warned me,"

"I tried you didn't want to listen,"

Students cleared the halls, upon hearing a professor approaching, the three girls, left in different directions. Rhea wiped a tear from her cheek, she never intended to upset Laura on her birthday, she just hoped the paint wouldn't dye her hair or stain her clothes.

She sat alone in the common room, many of the students were outside enjoying the spring air, she avoided looking in Ethan's direction. His sister would most likely tell him what happened, even if it wasn't her intention, if anything she was pranking Flint for the taunting Ethan would receive.

"Hey," George said, sitting next to her "You alright?" she nodded sniffing up.

"Yeah family have fights, no big deal," George flicked his eyes up at Fred, urging him to say something

"Our brother, doesn't like pranks either," Fred said, she looked up at him, "Percy hates them, mum isn't a fan either, we do them because we like them, for every single prank that upsets someone,"

"We make it up with ten that'll make people laugh," George added, "Don't let it get you down, Rhea,"
