Chapter 3: Special Day

"What should I wear?" Kronii was checking herself out in the mirror, trying on many different clothes but couldn't decide what to wear. It's Mumei's birthday today, so she wanted to look cool at the party.

She wasn't sure whether to go with a classy style with a suit or maybe something casual like a jacket. She ponders long and hard on which option to go for. A knock then can be heard. "Hm? Who is it?" Kronii went over to grab a random shirt to put on for now, "It's me, Bae! Let me in Kronii~!" She chuckles, hearing the short girl behind the door, and walks over to open it up for her.

"You're a bit early. You know that, right?" Bae was always the type to show up first for anything. "I know, but I finished up fast and thought I'd show up early." Kronii examines what she was wearing; black pants with a red belt, a white and black crop sweatshirt with a white jacket over her shoulders, and white shoes.

Kronii thinks to herself that she wasn't wearing anything too fancy but still looked sharp for a party. Maybe she should wear the same? Another question ponders in her mind.

Bae noticed that she was staring at her clothes, "Do you like what I'm wearing?" Bae smug as she poses, "I look pretty hot in it, don't you think?" Kronii snaps out of her thoughts, "Huh? Oh yeah, you look amazing. I'm sorry, I was thinking about what I should wear at Mumei's party." Kronii turns away from Bae. "You don't have to overthink too hard on it. You can go whatever you like." The short girl closed the door behind her as she made herself comfortable sitting on top of Mumei's bed as Kronii went back to stare at her clothing.

"No, I have to go in looking my most perfect. I can't settle for 'whatever I like' I wanna look cool and sharp, but nothing too fancy as if I'm going to a ball. But I also don't wanna appear sloppy at her party." Kronii returns to her wardrobe, picking out more clothes to match up together. Bae sighs and plops back down on the bed, "We might get there late to the party if you're choosing for too long, Kronster."

Kronii only hums as she pulls out a jacket to place on her bed, "Then you'd just have to watch me and tell which one looks cool on me." She then pulls out a pair of dark jeans and places them over her body to check herself in the mirror. Bae exhales loudly with a groan, "This is gonna take forever."

Kronii looked as if she were offended, "It will not take forever! It'll only take a couple of minutes." She noticed her friend sitting up from the bed and staring at her in the reflection of the mirror, "How long have you been up doing this, Kronii?" There was a long silence as Kronii avoided her eyes, trying to think of a number that was not beyond from this morning, "As I thought." Bae made her point as Kronii sighed out being caught red-handed.

"Okay, okay! This will be the last outfit, then say yes or no. If yes, then we'll leave. But you have to give your honest answer!" Bae then agrees to her terms. Kronii quickly went over to change into the last outfit that she already had in mind.

She puts on her dark blue high-tops shoes, dark denim jeans that are torn on the knees with a white leather belt around her waist, a white half-crop t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. As for accessories, she wore her golden and blue watch around her wrist.

Kronii turns around at Bae to show off her outfit, "Alright, what do you think? Remember, honest answer." The short girl hums as she eyed up and down at Kronii, "Bruh, obviously yes! You look cool and hot in that outfit." She did say to give her honest opinion, so Kronii would have to take her word for it.

Quickly turning around the mirror, Kronii checked herself, starting to get into the outfit, "Hmm. You're right. I do look pretty hot in this." Kronii smiles at her reflection as she poses, placing a hand on her chin. "Alright, it's settled! I'll go to the party wearing this then." Kronii smirks as bright sparkles appear around her.
