"So I went to the baseball game the other day. You know the one we was going to go to together." I said as we waited for the elevator. She just looked at me and shrugged. "I didn't watch that baseball game."
"It was a good." I mumbled looking at my feet. How could one miscommunication cause all of this awkwardness? "So what did you do instead of watching the game?" I asked as we got on. "I hung out with a couple of other coworkers."
"Oh." "I even met the guy you was telling me about. Alec? We hit it off really well and I we went to see the football game yesterday," she said looking through her files. What the fuck? "Oh that must've been nice."

Corbyn

"What are you doing here?" I asked Lera when she came to Joe's.
"I just came here for a drink. Why else would I be here?"
"I mean this hospital. Why did you come here after being happy for years back home?"
"Because I missed what we had. Come back home with me, Corbyn," she begged putting her hands on mine.
"No Lera. I'm happy here and I found a girl who's perfect for me. We both decided to get a divorce when I decided to come back here."
"You don't miss us?" She asked trying to grab my hand again. "The only person I miss is Christina."
"If you still care about me in any way you would let me go. We both would be happier when you leave this state." I said before getting up.
"I'll put in my leave for tomorrow. Two weeks from now I'll be gone." She said staring at her cup.
"Thank you." I said kissing the top of my head before leaving. Hopefully with her gone Christina will talk to me. Hopefully I can get us back.

Daniel

"Come on." I said taking Madison out the on call room. "Ten more minutes please."
"Ten more minutes? Darling if I let that happen you're not gonna wake up." I said giving her the clipboard.
"I hate when you're right." She mumbled looking through it. "He does have that annoying habit doesn't he?" Someone asked from behind us.
"It's more annoying when you're married to him." The person said when we turned around. "Rose." I said looking at her in the hospital's scrubs and coat.
"You two were married?" Madison asked looking at the both of us. "Still are until it's finalized. At least that's what I know unless the lawyers already called." Rose said looking over at her.
"Who are you?" She asked looking Madison up and down. "I'm Madison or you know Dr Beer. Yes my last name is actually Beer and I have to go. Thanks for waking me up Seavey." She said grabbing the other clipboard walking away.
"She's pretty."
"Are you putting the Seavey charm on her too?"
"Shut up."

Gabbie

      "Gabbie please I miss you.
      "Well I don't miss you."
With that I closed the door on him.

Kay

"Why are you in here?" I asked her as she came outside the room to meet my patient. "Oh they didn't tell you."
"No they did not." I said trying to keep a smile on my face. "I'm putting your patient under today."
"Trust me you won't have anyone better. I'm the head of the department after all." She said smiling big.
"Great. This is just gonna be the best surgery." I mumbled still trying to keep a smile on my face.
"Oh it is. Zach told me you are a excellent Peds surgeon. That you should be the one running the department. Guess I'll see if his judgement is clouded or not."
Grumbling I went into the patient room and that made me smile. She was surrounded by her favorite stuffed animals. Cloudy the bunny, Sunny the bear, and Pinky the dolphin. She looked so happy to be with them.
"Hi sweetie. How are you feeling today?" I asked putting my clipboard down next to her. "My stomach still hurts but you're gonna make it better right?"
"Yes I am. Everyone in here is gonna make it feel better today." I said stepping back looking at everyone. I greeted her mom and started doing introductions.
"And here is Dr White. She's gonna make you feel very sleepy while we fix your stomach okay?" Ellie stepped forward and gave the girl a couple of stickers. "I already know you're gonna be good today."
"I'm always a good girl at school. Right mommy?" Her mom just smiled and nodded fixing her daughter's hair. "Any more questions about the procedure?" I asked again looking at the mom.
"She's gonna be perfectly safe right?" Before I can answer Ellie started talking. "I haven't worked with Dr Cook myself but I do know she's one of the best. She should be running her department according to my source." She said sending a wink over to me. At least she's not a bitch.
"And Dr White is the head of her department. Your daughter can't be in better hands then ours. We're gonna make sure she's perfectly fine. She's with the best of the best truly." I said taking the mom's hand in mine. "Okay," the mom said relaxing a bit.
