Chpt. 10

I wake up on Saturday. Today is the day we are going looking for dresses for the beginning of year dance. I can't wait, even though I'm not that sure how it's going to go. I drag myself out of my bed, and go get ready.

I hear a knock at the door. I am the only one home so I run down the stairs to answer it. "Hi!" Says Jasmine.
"Hey," I reply.
"Ready to go?"
"Ya, let me just go get my purse first." I grab my purse and follow her out to her car.

"You have to try this dress on!" Sophia says as she shoves a dress in front of me. It's a short green dress, with a sparkly top and puffy bottom.
"That's not really my style." I say, and she pouts and turns to look at more dresses. I see the perfect dress. It's teal with a strap less top and it flows on the bottom. It has a sparkly belt thing that goes around the waist. It is perfect. (Picture on top or side) I have never taken that long to look for clothes, or try hundreds on. I just know which one I like. "Jasmine, how does this one look?" I hold it up in front of me and spin around.
"Perfect! Go try it on!" She squeals, and pushes me to a changing room.
I change into it and step out. "Beautiful!" Both Jasmine and Sophia scream. I twirl and it flows around my legs.
Jasmine has already found her dress, so me and her start talking. "So you and Brock?" She asks me.
I feel my cheeks get hot. "Well he asked me out. We are going somewhere tonight."
"Perfect, what time?"
"7:30. Why?"
"I be at your house at six to help you get ready." I say nothing and just roll my eyes. I am excited to go out with him tonight. But I really want to get to know Ethan better.
