We are half way to my house and I am staring blankly out the window. The whole car ride has been filled with an awkward silence, besides me occasionally telling him where to turn. "Are you all right?" He asks me. I just nod in response. He looks over at me like he wants to say something more, but he doesn't say anything.
We finally get to my house and I sit there awkwardly trying to think of what to say. "Thanks," I finally mumble. "Sure anytime." He tells me. I nod my head slowly, than hop out of the car, and walk to my front door. I turn around to see him pulling out of me driveway. I wave goodbye and he flashes me a smile.
In my bedroom I sit down I decide to call my old friend from where I used to live. I haven't called her in like forever. Well more like three days. But, you know. "Hey," She says when she picks up, "so how are you and that boy of yours?" She asks. And that's when I can't take it anymore. I break down crying. "Woah, what did I say? What's wrong?" She asks hastily.
"I-I broke up with him. And h-he didn't want to break up with me, and I didn't want to either-" But before I can finish what I am saying she cuts me off. "Well than why don't you get back together with him?" She asks me.
"He cheated on me." I say softly.
"Maybe she kissed him." She suggests.
"You don't understand." I say, than I tell her everything that happened. At the end I hear her gasp. "He hit you?" She exclaims. I nod my head. But than I remember that she can't see me. "Ya," I reply.
"That's it I'm coming there. Than your going to need to hold my earrings." She says. I can hear her scowl through the phone and I almost smile.
"I gotta go and eat dinner now. Call me soon. Bye," She tells me and than she hangs up.
I head downstairs and make myself some dinner. Once it's finished I go into the living room, put on some t.v. and eat. I guess somewhere through the t.v. series I was watching I fell asleep. Because the next thing that I know is it's one in the morning and the left over food on my plate is cold.
I sit up groggily, rub my eyes. Than I get up and clear my plate and head up to bed.
