I am walking down the hall to my locker when I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around to see the one and only Brock. I scowl and he glares holes into my head. I very much despise him right now, so if he could just leave. That would be great. "You can't just break up with me!" He yells.
"Well I just did, so it's quite possible." I reply. "You are terrible. Just like Ethan said."
"Ethan huh. What? Where you using me to get to him?" He screams louder, walking dangerously close to me, while I take precautions steps backwards.
"No! He has nothing to do with this. I talked to him literally like three times!" I raise my voice to meet his angry tone. "And why are you mad at me? You were the one in the sucking that girls face!"
He smirks as I say this. "Because I'm me." Is his clever reply.
"Yes, that is quite obvious." My voice is filled with poison and hate.
"We are still together. You want to know why?"
"Not really." I spit out folding my arms.
"Because it's good for my reputation. Dating the cheer captain has its highs." He replies.
"Well, find another girl."
"Nope. You are still going to date me." He says, glaring at me, daring to disagree with him. And I gladly accept his dare.
"Well, it's my own life, and if I don't want to be with you I'm not."
"Wrong decision. Maybe this will teach you." He comes up to me and slaps me. It's echoes through the halls and I fall to the ground from the impact. I hold my cheek tears coming into my eyes. "Ah, are you going to cry now? You should have listened." He walks away, but not before kneeling down and kissing my forehead.
After a couple minutes I see Ethan walking around the corner. Upon seeing me on the floor he rushes to my sad. "Oh my gosh! What happened?" He yells, running up to me. Grabbing my arm helping me stand up.
"Let's just say you don't want to be on Brock's bad side." I say.
"What happened to your face?" He questions. Looking at my cheek skeptically.
"Same answer as before."
"He slapped you!" He screams in my ear. I nod my head, yes.
"When I get my hands on him." He mumbles, and his hands clench into fists at his side.
"Ya, not right now. Can you drive me home?"
"Sure. Come on." He says, and I follow him out to his car.
