"Alright, We need to talk to Goth, Flora, Ella Musk, and there's a Ruin Guard blocking a road in Dadaupa Gorge." Traveler reads off of the commission's board.
"Ok, so which do we do first?" I ask, sending a breeze through Mond, to see what the people want and the exact location of the Ruin guard.
"Well, what do you think?" Traveler looks at me knowingly. "I can feel the wind, Venti."
"Goth needs wood and wants us to talk to Mona, Flora wants us to get those flowers we put in Dragonspine, Ella needs help with Hilichurls, and the Ruin Guard is self-explanatory," I say, letting the feeling of the wind wash over me.
"Ok, let us talk to Ella and take care of the Ruin Guard last, and go to Dragonspine before that. And that only leaves talking to Goth, so let's do that first." They start to drag me by the hand to were Goth spends most of his time In the little courtyard.
"Hey Goth!" Traveler calls out to the man. Goth smiles, holding his hands behind his back.
"Traveler! Venti! It's nice to see you both, did you come for my commission?" Goth greets us, his smile warm.
"Yep! Whatcha need?" Traveler asks, though we already know.
"As you know, those Fatui have my hotel fully booked. And as you know, I, as the boss of the Goth Grand Hotel, I have to attend to them. I coordinate food catering, repairs, and a slew of miscellaneous matters besides." Goth starts, looking at us both intently.
"Lately some rooms have had their furniture damaged, so I've had to contact people to bring the appropriate timber to some carpenters. Then there's the matter of collecting rent on a few apartments... and the matter of my lad Marvin being nowhere to be found." He sighs, looking at the ground and shaking his head. "I wonder how long I can last... Or when that boy will finally grow up."
"We can help Goth, just tell us what you need us to do." Traveler says, taking hold of the conversation.
"Ah, that's wonderful. In that case could I burden you to fetch me some Fir Wood and some Britch Wood. One of each should do nicely."
"Oh, don't you have some on you Traveler?" I ask. Traveler starts looking through their bag, pulling out a small bundle of each wood.
"How do you do that Traveler? You can carry so much in such a small bag." Goth asks, taking the wood from us.
"I don't know. It was a gift, everything I put in here magically fits." Traveler says, putting the bag back on.
"Is there anything else, Goth?" I ask, knowing the answer.
"I have a few people who are late on rent, do you think you could talk to Mona about her rent?" Goth asks, looking at Traveler, he smiles. Everyone in Mond loves them, Mondstadt's Honorary Knight.
"Of course!" They smile, turning to look at me. "Let's go check out her house, Venti."
Smiling, we bid Goth a temporary farewell and start down the city streets of Mond, heading to Mona's house.
Knocking on the door, we listen in to see if there's any shuffling on the other side.
There's not.
"Seems like she's not home," I say, turning away from the door. "Do you think we should look for her?"
"Yep, where should we check?" They ask, combing through their bangs.
"Let's check with Kathrine, see if she knows where Mona is." We go down the stairs and walk quietly down the streets of Mondstadt to Kathrine's booth.
"Traveler, Venti, what brings you back so soon?" She greets warmly. I adore Kathrine, she's always so nice.
"We were hoping you've seen Mona." Traveler says, resting their hands on the counter.
"I can't say that I have." She says, looking remorseful.
"It's ok, we can check somewhere else." I say, turning to Traveler. "Should we check with Sara from Good Hunter?"
"That sounds like a plan." They confirm.
"Alright, let's go." We walk up the steps of Mondstadt's main plaza to Good Hunter.
Walking up to Sara's counter, we greet her. "Morning Sara!"
"Good morning, Traveler and Venti," She says, leaning forward and resting her forearms on the counter. "What can I do for you?" She smiles.
"We were hoping you've seen Mona. I know she comes here to eat a salad every once in awhile." I say, taking the lead for the conversation this time.
"I saw her a couple days ago, but otherwise I unfortunately can't be of any help to you." She says almost sorrowful.
"It's ok," Traveler assures, "We can check the library, I think she spends a lot of time there." I nod and we bit Sara goodbye.
Walking through the streets we go to the Knights Of Favonius headquarters.
"Hey Wraytt, have you seen Mona?"
"Not in the past couple of days, why?" He asks, saluting at Traveler.
"We're just looking for her. Thank you, Wraytt." Traveler says disappointed.
"I guess we should report back to Goth." I say, turning back to Traveler. They just nod, heading out of the building.
"I was really hoping we could find her." They say, looking at the ground.
"Lets tell Goth and keep a look out for her on the rest of our travels?" I offer and they perk up a little bit.
Not caring for the gliding rules we fly to Goth's courtyard. Goth Smiles at us when we land.
"Did you find her?" He asks.
Still looking at the ground, Traveler says no.
"That's alright, thank you for looking>" He smiles, he shoos us off, telling us to finish our other commissions.
"Ok, Lets Go to Dragonspine and get those flowers." I say, trying to cheer Traveler up.
They smile at me so we teleport to all of the places we set them, picking up the flowers and then heading to the next spot.
When we finish, we teleport to Mond's plaza.
Walking down the street we go to Flora's flower shop. She greets us, and takes the flowers with a smile.
"Thank you both so much!" She giggles, holding onto the flowers lovingly.
"Ok, lets head off to talk to Ella." Traveler says, pulling me along.
