The 2024 season had finally begun, everyone was over the moon and couldn't hide the happiness, Min was the only one who was anxious but clearly not for the race.
In fact, during the long winter break, he had decided that that day was the perfect one to try and talk to Audrei, the only problem was that he didn't know where she would've watched the race from or even if she would've watched it at all. So he did the easiest and most logical thing: he asked Henry.
<<Hey Hen, so.... Did you enjoy the break?>> he said with a note of anxiety in his voice.
<<Man, you ok? You seem rather pale...more than usual>>
<<Yes....... Actually i wanted to ask you something.... Do you happen to know if Audrei will join us here in the paddock??>>
<<I- Listen man why are you asking me that?>>
<<I need to talk to her... please mate, i really need to! It's just so important to me...>>
<<ok, so I shouldn't be telling you but i think it's really for the best for her too.>>

<<She's visiting a mansion.... You know.. the one with the Italianate garden, probably she will come to the circuit only once the race starts.. i think she mean to avoid... everyone>>
<<Thanks>> said the Korean while running toward the exit. Once he got in the cab he realized, he didn't know what he would've told her at all.
<<Where to?>> asked the cab-driver after several seconds
<<Uh ehm... That house.... With the Italian-something garden..>>
<<Gotcha man>> said the taxi driver in desbelief <<Troubles? Maybe love troubles?>>

As he lifted his gaze, she was there, admiring the front wall of the house standing with her arms crossed at her chest and her legs slightly open as she always stood when she was focused.
Min found himself smiling at these thoughts.
<<Audrei...>> he said with a trembling voice
<<Min...>> she replied once she turned around
<<Ok listen, I've been mean to tell you something for a while, so I'll do it now before i lose the chance again. In the past I haven't treated you like I should have, I admit it, I felt that it was something bigger than me and I suppose I let my fear of losing you take over. I know that I have been a real asshole with you and I could die if that was meant to, I've never felt like I do when I am with you and that was scary as fuck>> both chuckled <<I don't know what I would do to be next to you! I just want to be part of your world, I am already living my dream but it can't be complete without you in it! I love you and I know it's not the first time I do tell you but I can't stop, it's the only thing that come to my mind when it's about you. I left you because I was fucking scared... the things i accused you of doing weren't even that serious...I am so freaking in love with you that I feel like someone drop a tank of gas into my body and blew it up... but at least one of us need to stay focus, because I am completely fucked up... Speaking of which.. shouldn't you be racing? You won't be late because of me!>>
<<People do crazy things when they are in love!>> and then he kissed her <<Merde! It's late.. we'll have to run if we don't hurry up.>> and they started to run to the cab that surprisingly was still in front of the gate. Audrei opened the door to let him in saying <<love is an open door, right??>>
Once they arrived in front of the circuit, while Min was paying the cab-driver, this one said <<She is beautiful!>> and then, with a smile on his face, drove off.
