"My thoughts exactly."

"I just don't get it. When I touched the Mercury from Tracy it burned me. But, when Kate took me and Scooby to the temple last year, she physically put Mercury in my system, but it made me cold." Charlotte rambles, staring at the wall ahead of her with unblinking eyes.

"Maybe this Mercury was modified? You know, made to hurt." Lydia shrugs, placing a '+2' card on the UNO pile. "Pick up two."

"Makes sense." The Lynx nods, furrowing her eyebrows as she looks down at the cards, muttering as she picks up two cards from the upside down stack. "Son of a bitch."

"Heard you muttering in your sleep last night. Saying how you're gonna 'knock the fuck out it, cook it and eat it in front of its family.'" Lydia says, looking up at her girlfriend with a smirk.

"That stupid fucking bird came back again and started smacking me with pumpkins." Charlotte grumbles, glaring at the game in front of herself and Lydia as she places a green '3' down.

Lydia smiles at Charlotte, her head shaking in amusement as she playfully rolls her eyes, stifling her laughter.

"I think it's Laura coming back to haunt me in the form of that stupid Parrot." Charlotte shrugs, leaning back in her seat with a sigh. "Or Allison's mom. Wouldn't put it past her."

It goes silent as she waits for Lydia to add onto her comment, however, that doesn't happen. The Hale looks up at the Banshee, following her line of sight to the T.V, where two people are fighting each other.

"The Karate Kid's better." The seventeen year old comments with a light shrug.

"Do you think you could teach me?" Lydia asks suddenly, causing Charlotte to look up at her girlfriend in confusion. "To fight."

"You're really asking me? The one who avoided all the fights every single time?" Charlotte asks, furrowing her eyebrows curiously. "And here I thought you were smart."

Lydia reaches out at her comment, lightly whacking her girlfriends arm, causing Charlotte to laugh. However, it doesn't take long before Lydia goes serious again, making Charlotte gulp.

"Whatever I did, it was most definitely Isaac." The Lynx lies.

"I've seen you fight people, I know you can fight better now." Lydia reasons. "Please, teach me."

Charlotte stares at her for a few moments, squinting her eyes slightly as she contemplates it. Obviously, her thoughtful expression is fake, her pause in the conversation only there for dramatic effect. Because, she, and everyone in Beacon Hills, know that Charlotte would do anything and everything for Lydia in a heartbeat and vise versa.

"Okay." The Hale mumbles, making Lydia's face break out into a smile. "I am so gonna turn you into a badass fighter."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Arlo." Lydia chuckles, looking up at her girlfriend with a fond smile, laughing when Charlotte turns to her in mock offence.

"You can pick up two for that one, Ginger Snaps."

"How's Lydia?" Scott asks as soon as Charlotte sits down onto the table, dropping her backpack onto the library floor.

"Hello to you too, Scooby. My day's been great, thanks for asking. My girlfriend beat me in four games of UNO, pinched my arm when I called her a Ginger Snap and threw her pillow at me when I took one of her skittles." Charlotte rambles with a smile.
