"Never!"

⭒🐺━━━━━🐺⭒

Stiles sat on the stairs in Scott's house, staring dead straight at the line of Mountain Ash he had put down. Isaac sat a couple of stairs up from him, waiting for Theo's arrival just as Stiles is, his leg bouncing rapidly. Scott and Charlotte hid around the corner upstairs and out of view from Theo, but they stay close enough so they can hear whatever's going on.

"I guess we're all telling the truth now, huh?" Theo's voice travels through the house. Scott leans against the wall both himself and Charlotte listening to Theo enter the house with the Mountain Ash barrier still up.

"You killed my best friend?" Stiles stares up at Theo, extremely pissed off. Theo smirks at him, his head tilting as he looks between Stiles and Isaac.

"Don't you mean 'friends?'" Theo raises his eyebrows, letting out a laugh when Stiles and Isaac stare at him, confused. "No wonder it was easy to get Charlotte alone then." Theo hums. From upstairs, Scott turns to look at Charlotte in a 'what the fuck is he talking about' way. Charlotte doesn't even look at him. "And come on, let's be honest here Stiles, was Scott even really your best friend? Was Charlotte?"

"What did you do to his dad?" Isaac suddenly speaks up, changing the subject for Stiles. Stiles and Isaac have never seen eye to eye, much to Scott's misfortune and the rest of the pack's entertainment, so in times like these - times where they have each other's backs - it almost gives Scott a heart attack. "You just gonna let him die?"

"If I wanted the Sheriff to die, I wouldn't have told him where to find him." Theo tells Isaac, looking back down to Stiles with a smirk.

"Then why are the doctors saying his body is shutting down?" Scott and Charlotte can hear Stiles stand up as he speaks. "They're saying that there's a toxin and it's poisoning him and they don't know how to stop it." Charlotte's heart drops at the knowledge. She didn't have the heart to ask Stiles what happened the night prior, especially after what had happened during that entire night.

As quick as the surprise flashed over Theo's face, it was gone. Stiles didn't see it, too angry with Theo with what he did to his dad, but Isaac saw it clearly. "I'm not the bad guy here, guys." All four of them roll their eyes simultaneously at Theo's words. "I'm a realist. I'm a survivor. And if you knew the things I know-"

"Well, what do you know?" Stiles interjects his speech, an aggressive tone lacing through his voice.

"I know what's coming." Theo replies, unbothered with Stiles' sudden interruption. "I know what the Dread Doctors have created. There's a reason I had the Dread Doctors kill Charlotte and I know what Parrish is." Theo rambles his reply, accidentally saying a bit too much. Charlotte and Scott perk up a little at his words, as does Isaac and Stiles. "Lydia figured it all out. I saw it in her memories."

"Yeah, right after you killed her girlfriend and drove her out of her mind!" Stiles' voice raises as he steps closer to Theo.

"Collateral damage." Theo shrugs, not at all bothered. Charlotte's jaw ticks when she hears Theo call Lydia collateral damage, the feeling of anger bubbling in her chest. From the stairs, Isaac's eyes widen ever so slightly, knowing just how pissed off Charlotte will be after that. "But, if Lydia was right about Parrish then things are gonna get a lot worse around her. And now with Charlotte out of the equation, your odds of surviving are close to impossible."

"I don't care!" Stiles snaps, seething.

"You should. Because if your dad does survive, he's not gonna be the Sheriff of anything much longer." Theo shrugs, almost finding this entire situation amusing.
