Chapter 1

Sitting in the car, Caroline had her ear buds in and was listening to music as she looked out of the car window. She was stuck in a car of other people. Couples. She was invited and soon some of the people invited started dating.

So, she was like the third wheel when it came to everyone who was going to the beach house they were all staying at. So, there she was, sitting in the over filled SUV. Her music drowning everyone's talking over each other.

She was invited by Melanie to come here. It was her cousin, Arianna's boyfriends, Matt's, uncle's house. It was for a week, and Caroline was hoping to get a tan and enjoy getting a tan while laying out in the sand. 

Soon, they were pulling in, and Matt groaned, she also looked up at the house, it was a huge, beautiful house. But she saw a man walk out. A huge man. He glared at the car with his arms crossed.

"Isn't that your uncle?" Arianna asked seeing the dark-haired man standing there watching them. "Yeah... Fuck. He wasn't supposed to be here." He grumbled. He got out of the SUV and went up to his uncle. 

Caroline moved to watch the two males talk. Matt wasn't a skinny guy, but he isn't jacked like his uncle was. The girl watched as the jacked man looked over at them in the van. He pointed at his nephew and Matt nodded.

Matt went back to his SUV. "Ok. Let's get our things inside." He told them. "Is he ok with us being here? I thought he knew that we're using his house?" Arianna asked. "Well.. I was going to tell him... Just forgot to. But he wasn't supposed to be here anyway." He told them.

Caroline looked at Matt. Was he angry that his uncle is angry for finding out that he was taking the beach house for the week? She shook her head at this.

Getting out, Caroline waited for her duffle bag to be seen so she could get it. Seeing it, she grabbed it and her pillow. She followed the others inside the beautiful house.

She walked up and saw Matt's uncle. "Guys. This is my Uncle Zak Kent. Uncle Zak, these are my friends, Jared, Melanie, Link, Laura, Caroline, and this is my girlfriend, Arianna." Matt introduced pointing the people out.

Caroline gave a polite smile when Zak looked at her. 

Zak was a big muscular man, his dark hair was curly, and he had blue eyes. Piercing blue eyes. "Well. I guess I have to get more from the store." Zak said. "Do you want some help?" Caroline looked at Jared, who spoke. 

"Sure. I wouldn't mind." He told them. "Caroline? Why don't you go with?" Arianna suggested going to her. "Please? It would give us couples some alone time. Plus, you can make sure you have what all you like." Arianna whispered to her.

Caroline sighed but nodded. "I can go with. Let me just put my things down?" She asked Zak. Zak gave her a smile and nodded. "Sure sweetheart." 

Matt led everyone inside and to their rooms. "You get your own room." Matt told her as she went into a room. She looked around and smiled. "Thanks again Matt." Caroline said, putting her things down.

She headed out to meet with his uncle to go to the store with him so the others could most likely have sex with each other. He was waiting for her to come back out.

She sat in the SUV with Zak. "So, sweetheart, what are you in school for?" He asked, as he drove. "Performing arts." She explained. He nodded. "And you live on campus?" He was trying to get to know her. 

She knew that. Since they were going to be around each other through the week.

"I do. I'm Arianna's roommate. I even went there for high school." Caroline explained. "Your collage is also a high school, right? I didn't remember." She nodded. "Yeah."

He looked at her in the corner of his eye. She looked over feeling his eye on her. "Well. I hope you enjoy yourself here." He told her. She gave a small smile and then looked out the window looking at the scenery around her.
