Vultaid sat in her apartment, rubbing her eyes. She'd caught a few vigilante's that night, and saw glimpses of the "trouble trio" as Winchester called them.

She shifted to her normal form, a Hispanic human with short, black hair. She plopped down on the couch, throwing off her mask as she turned on her Xbox. She slipped on her headset and grabbed her controller, tuning in with a call to Winchester- better yet, Avani.

"Sup!"
"Hey, what's going on?"

The two indulged in mindless chat, joining a server to play on. The hours went on as they kept rage-quitting- it wasn't perfect, but neither were they.

"Hey, you good? You've been zoning out all night." Avani finally said, rubbing their eyes.

"Huh? Oh- yeah. Just.... upset."
"Why?"

"Well, remember when I said that I had adopted that one kid then gave them up again a while back?"
"Mhm."
"It's their birthday soon. The hospital had told me they went into a permanent coma, before pulling the plug. So it's not going great."

"Jesus- I'm sorry, that must suck. Anything I can do to help?"
"Nah, I'll be fine."

Suddenly, her phone started buzzing. With a quick peek, she noticed it was from work.

"One sec, gotta take this."

Moss took off the headpiece before answering the call.

"Hello?"
"Hello, Mossix. We did a backround check on the Vigilante Axol."

"O-Okay? How does this pertain to me?"
"We'd like you to go to Blapples Café tomorrow. Axol works there under a name you might recognize."
"What name?" Moss hesitantly asked. Why the hell were they contacting her about this.

"Biologically?

Willow Gou."
