The ride back to Mondstadt went smoothly, and as expected, they soon made it to Starfell Valley. The cold was no more, and the outstretched anxiety y/n had been feeling subsided as well (aside from the witch still on-board Lumine's platform).

Y/n sat at the edge of the platform, dangling their legs off of it. The wind was strong, yet refreshing. Especially after the intense course of events.

They turned to look at the rest of the group. Lumine was throwing geo rocks at hilichurls they passed, and Signora was watching the girl. However, the blond boy staring at the passing nature was the first thing to catch y/n's attention. Aether was sitting criss-cross with his head resting on the palm of his hand.

After last night, though it was barely anything, y/n couldn't stop thinking about the warm feeling being with Aether brought. It brought them a sense of happiness, and comfort. So, being in confusion, they thought it'd be best to ask someone about it. Possibly not Lumine, but what other options did they have?

Coming back to reality, they turned their focus back to the passing scenery, until a familiar silhouette was noticed by the h/c haired person. Looking around at what could make noise, they sighed and decided to just use themself. They started clapping and smacking the geo under them to gain the attention of the group, which succeeded. They pointed towards the castle, earning small cheers from Lumine.

"It'll feel so nice to be back home. Oh! And we get to see Paimon too~ oh Signora she'll hate you." Lumine cooed and swayed back and forth.

Signora only dead-panned on the blonde girl, and focused back on the scenery.

"Thanks, y/n." Aether said quietly, before the wind around the platform started to pick up, leading the rock to move quicker in the direction of Aether's moving castle.

"Paimon said she'd bring the castle to try and meet us. So she probably sees us right about now." Aether recalled, standing up and carefully walking towards the front of the platform and sitting beside y/n.
