Jace and Caleb were laughing and chatting all the way to their lockers, apparently, Jace's locker was just a few lockers away from Caleb. The stunt at the cafeteria escalated into a food fight when one of them confessed that he was a champion in dodgeball, someone shouted, "Yeah? Dodge this!" and sent a burger flying to his face while piece of the burger fell out. And then someone called food fight and all of them started grabbing their food and throwing it around. Jace and Caleb managed to sneak out without getting slammed with mayonnaise and vegetables. It was good that they sneaked out early because the disciplinary teacher on duty gave detention slips to whoever started the food fight. Jace and Caleb indirectly started the food fight by starting a chain of confessions that led to that "unfortunate" event.

"So, are you busy Saturday?" Caleb asked after they managed to calm down. They were out in the courtyard, where he saw her get out of the car in the morning.

"You mean tomorrow?"

Stunned, Caleb asked, "Today's Friday?"

Jace chuckled, "You didn't know?"

"I- uh, I-"

"Forgot. You forgot." Jace finished for him.

Caleb started to fidget, how could he forget?

"Caleb, you've really got to learn to relax," Jace said, and she patted his shoulder, like he was someone who needed comforting.

A hug would be nice, he thought, if it was for comforting.

He shrugged it off, he needed to learn to relax, "So, busy Saturday? Wanna hang out?"

"Hang out? Where?" Jace asked. They were heading back to the school.

When they arrived at their lockers, Caleb continued, "You know, movie, lunch, dinner maybe?"

Jace slammed her locker shut and it stunned Caleb, "You mean like a date?"
