Brenna and I have to check into the students centre before we head to class because we are 10 minutes late, we walk up to the desk but there are already two girls standing in front of the line.
"Hi I'm Charlotte and this is Emma, this is our first day and we were just wanting to pick up our time tables."
One of the girls, I think her name was Emma, looked like she should be part of a gang. She had black combat boots that went all the way up to her thighs, then she had dark grey short shorts and a leather jacket on over a Harley Davidson t-shirt. She glared at me, then at Brenna. Brenna and I looked at each other suspiciously, then back at the girl. Charlotte wasn't in uniform either, but was carrying a bag with the school logo on it which probably had the clothes inside. The teacher at the desk handed them some forms to fill out, along with their time tables. I could see that Emma had gym second period with Brenna and that she had music with me in fifth.
I walked up to the desk and handed the lady the note mum had written to excuse us for being late, then she manually marked us off as late on the school roll.

I grabbed all my books from my locker and hurried into English, when I arrived the teacher was standing up the front of the classroom with a blond haired boy.
"Okay class, we have a new student joining us today"
Another new student? That's three so far in one day!
"What's your name love?"
The teacher asked the boy.
"Hey everyone, I'm Max.."
Before the teacher could reply she saw me rushing through the door,
"Keelin, late again I see? What was it this time?"

...would you believe me that I fell through a wall and ended up back in my bed?...

"I slept in miss"
"Better not happen again Keelin"
I take a seat in my usual space, but the desk next to mine that is usually empty, has books and pens all spread out on top of it. When I started pulling all my books out, a tall figure slumped in the seat next to mine. It was the boy Max, when I turned to look at him he was already staring at me, his sea blue eyes perfectly helped shape his oval face. His wavy blond hair was scattered all over his forehead, his smile made his whole face look warm and inviting. Then I realised he was smiling at me, I had been staring at him for far too long, my face went extremely blank, so I flipped open my glasses case, put my reading glasses on and got stuck into my work.
