Keelins P.O.V
"Thanks for telling me Brenna, and now that you've come clean I think it's my turn"
"What do you mean kee kee? Do you have powers too?"
I slowly nod, I probably should have told Brenna before, but I had to make sure are had powers too.
"This morning I teleported from outside of the bathroom to into my bedroom"
I confess.
"Really! Your not just messing with me?"No"
"Keelin can you show me?"
"I don't know how I did it Brenna"
We both look at each other, then Brennas face lit up.
"You go back to your room and try to teleport into my room, if it's not working you can come back in hear!"
Before I could argue she was pushing me out the door.I stood in my room for a while and try to remember what had happened this morning. I stand relaxed, I think about sleeping, I think about the smoothness of Brennas carpet, the smoothness of the floor between my toes. I drift between consciousness, then I feel the sensation of falling. This time I brace myself for the landing, I have my knees bent and my eyes gently closed. I land with a thud on the ground next to Brenna.
"Unbelievable!"
She swipers
"You just fell from the sky!"
This time she says it with a little more excitement in her voice."Knock knock"
"There is someone at the door"
I say to Brenna."You open it. It could be someone from school"
She tells me.I walk downstairs and to the front door, I quickly open it and standing outside is Max.
"Hey Keelin."
"Hey... Your the kid from English right?"
"Yep that's me"
"I don't ever remember telling you my name..."
I say suspiciously. He seams taken aback, but is quick to reply."I must have seen it on one of your books"
He was looking into my eyes, he also looked like he was in a rush, so I didn't want to hold him up."What are you doing here?"
I ask rather rudely."Can I please talk to you and your sister alone please?"
I found this a little creepy, but his face looked so kind and welcoming that I couldn't decline.
So I closed the door behind him and we walked into Brennas room.
