The next day, at a casual dining restaurant, near Peter's hotel
Peter was enjoying his strawberry pancakes. The unexpected last night was still been on the television. Though Peter didn't want to pay much attention to it, but when it showed the footage of him in Rider suit fighting with the robots, he felt uncomfortable. Especially, people amused that he was Iron Man by judging from his suit.
In his position, getting too much attention wasn't a good thing. The truth was that Peter didn't mind if everyone would know who he was, but he scared of human greed. Not gonna lied to say that the world was not the good placed as Peter would have imagined, he had traveled throughout so much worlds to learn that there were no good people after all. Peter had in some special situations where people with huge ambition considered him as their enemy, because Peter somehow might accidentally touch their powers, even some envied with his Rider power so they made the civilian against him and so much more.
Fighting crimes were easy but when it came to dealing with overacted people, things started to get out of hand. So, Peter decided to play low, he didn't go gather much attention that would damage him in the future. Though, it's not a best plan but still better than getting angry and beat them off like some of his Rider friends. 'For mad words, deaf ears.'
Kept eating his pancakes, he overheard the truckers behind his table.
"Are you for real?"
"Of course, I am. I saw it with my own eyes. That damn hammer is heavy as shit." "Yeah, a hammer felt from the sky that's heavy as tons and nobody could left it."
"It is, I swear. Me and my boy were having so much fun with it until the FBI showed up."
"FBI?"
"They said it was radio reactive but my hands are over it and I'm still here. They just want it for theirselves."
"Yeah. Can't trust the government these days."
Peter had an interest in their story, he decided to stand up and walk next to them.
"Hey, there. Could you tell me more about it?"
The men saw the camera on Peter's chest and thought that Peter was a reporter. So, he agreed easily.
"Sure, kid. It is near New Mexico, 50 miles from the West."
"Thank you. Here, my treat." Peter pulled out a hundred dollar and gave it to the man. He then started walking out the restaurant.
"But I won't waste my time. There was a whole army after we left." The man tried to warn Peter, he felt bad that the teenager would go there but got nothing.
However, Peter just smiled back at him and his friend, then he left the restaurant. Hopped on his Peter, Peter told himself.
"This vacation lasts longer than I expected."
Later that day,
It took Peter a while to arrive at the destination. He looked at the hole that had been built a base around it. There had to be something inside that hole and Peter wanted to find out. But not at the moment, if he acted too impulsive, he might get into unwanted awareness.
Took a full photo of the scene, Peter started the engine again and drove away. He needed to find a better view than this.
Sooner, Peter managed to find a mountain peek close to get a good view of the base. Using the binoculars that Peter carried in the bag before the trip started. Peter could see clear what inside the crater and that was really a hammer inside of it.
"How on earth could a hammer fall down from the sky?"
"And how is that made you interested when you got the power of an ultimate Kamen Rider?"
